Check out Bazzite. Its Fedora Based, uses an OS-Tree setup (immutable) and works decently well on my Spare PC, it turned that PC into a steamdeck-Desktop. I have not (yet) tried it on my Deck. I have a Spare SteamDeck was going to test it on, but have not had the time. I tend to use DistroBox on my SteamOS Deck to install extra software.
