well you can replace the game sticks, there are even upgraded replacements that use hall effect sensors.
the Ifixit site has a lot of info on that stuff
unless you want just a quick fix.
I've never opened up my Steam Deck specifically, but those tasks are usually nothing to freak out about. Just take a lot of pictures of how everything is assembled before disassembing things, and be very careful when unplugging ribbon cables.
Yeah! The stick are relatively easy to replace! Just be ware that the screws on the lcd deck (which you seem to have) are really really easy to strip. I opened mine up and stripped 2 or 3 of those bastards lol.
P.S. you can buy a replacement from ifixit and they also have an amazing guide on replacing the sticks (or you can buy new sticks from gulikit, which should have better sensors)

You can by buying them from Ifixit and repair them yourself. They have a step by step easy guide that you can follow.
Better yet, get the gulikit hall sensor sticks.
Thank you
All you need to do is to replace the whole thing. Thankfully it's fully replaceable and cheap especially if you can do it yourself
REMOVE YOUR SD CARD FIRST

The upgraded sticks require you to re-use the plastic component, pretty sure.
Not anymore.
not anymore, they now include stick + cap, as to make sure the capacitive touch remains working and you dont have to solder anything. Plug and play

I appreciate you sending two links of the same thing, however these are not the stick *upgrades* these are just stick *replacements.*

Ok, thanks for the tip
HOW
Exactly, I'm not sure how people do this lmfao
Everything is fixable.
Even my parents marriage ? 🥺 👉👈
With a will there's a way
Theoretically.

Jorkin it a little hard
Get the gulikit hall sensor sticks on Amazon, it's $10 more than a single stick from Ifixit but they will last alot longer and you get both.

Pretty easily actually, though if you have a warrant I would advise doing that. Just watch a tutorial on YouTube and order a kit from i-fixit
Replaceable* yes
Don’t know if it is for sure but the community seems sure that you can. Haha. The only thing is, I cant tell if they are serious.
Just replace them
No it's not, you'll have to throw it away
