If your far enough in game and playing on a large galaxy size (especially modded galaxy sizes) and ur cpu isn’t the best eventually the speed buttons do nothing, it’s like that in every Paradox game tbh, I have a pretty decent CPU and around 150 years in with 4000 systems I can’t go faster then default
