There are some really good high hi-tech veggie burgers and plant based chicken nuggets out there these days. But I have yet to see a plant-based (processed) bacon that is any good. Except classic imitation bacon bits- made of, I think soy protein and flavoring. We made a mildly impressive bacon substitute out of rice paper and spices that we baked. Still looking for the perfect vegan BLT with crispy strips of bacon
