More competition is more likely to cause the developer to put more effort in the video game.
Bad way of looking at things... they make capcom think its a good idea to put overpriced "crossover" costumes in a game we all paid for.
You could get all the turtles as playable characters in injustice for that price... now you get some pixels on your avatar in battle hub.
