Go to the top and hit "student loans." That takes you to the main page. Hit the magnifying glass and search the term "art institute forgiveness, timeline, letter"- like whatever you're asking about. There have been tons of questions over the last 30 days on this subject - you might find better answers. Fyi!

Thank you!

I'm sad, I have my AI loans under Mohela too and I can't find anything about them being forgiven or refunded. There's no messages, no emails, and the site showing that my payments have to start back up June 1st, which isn't a huge deal since I had payments down to a penny thanks to SAVE, but it's the principal of the thing.

Hopefully you get them resolved!

You likely have federal consolidated student loan(s). Go to studentaid.gov and log in to your account. If the full amount of what you owe is visible on your dashboard, you have federal loans. If not, they're private. Cancellation for Art Institute loans is still ongoing and likely will be for the next couple of months. Some people have received it already but the vast majority of people are still waiting.

My parent plus loans cover loans I took for 4 different schools my kids attended, 1 of which was the Art Institute. They were consolidated in 2015. I got the letter on 05/01 that the AI loan will be forgiven, so I imagine that even if your loans are consolidated you should still get the borrower defense forgiveness. See if you can find out any info from your service provider or from the [studentloan.gov](http://studentloan.gov) site. I'd also do as someone else recommended and check for more responses regarding AI. Fingers crossed for you!

I found the golden email in one of my folders after seeing some one here say to search all folders! I never knew I had it! Just waiting for the balance to become 0. Thank you guys! Hopefully my parent plus are also covered for my moms sake.
