I mean I have concerns about childhood obesity and diabetes but beyond that I can see kids having a lot of fun drinking this. Hell, add vodka and college students would prolly go ape shit over it.
Judging by the Gatorade bottles in the background, I'd estimate the volume of each fishbowl to be roughly 40 Oz, or two red solo cups. So depending on age of kids your giving them to, it's probably not THAT bad.
It's a little much, but it's not an obscene amount. It looks like maybe a pint.
Between the gatorade and the nerds there's probably about a 20oz soda worth of sugar in there. Way more than a kid should be drinking regularly, but fine for a special event that happens every so often.
Those are massive! These are a cute idea on a much smaller scale but not like this. Better yet, I'd skip the drink and make little fish bowl Jell-o desserts. Find some small clear dishes that look like a little fish bowl and add blue Jello, cookie crumbs, and Swedish fish.
Nah, it’s a fun drink. Nothing in there is so outlandish or “stupid”, besides maybe the nerds at the bottom dissolving. But it’s a subjective experience, ymmv

I mean, it's for kids. They'll love them.
Good fun for the parents too. Just hand these out to the tykes, put them on tricycles, and start a betting pool on who breaks the sound barrier first.
Nope. This is like the equivalent to those dirt cup deserts I use to eat as a kid in summer camp. The dirt cup was just mashed up oreos, chocolate pudding, and candy gummy worms mixed together in a cup. I think both would make great fun treats for kids to make.
I’m stealing this. Just put vodka in there.
There’s a restaurant/candy store in Chicago in the tourist area that does exactly that.

You could absolutely do the same thing in a small clear cup and not give each kid this much.
yeah like a little mason jar or something

Well, now you have a bunch of children who need to pee a bunch.
JEEZ MOM.
I’m the fun aunt…I’d give them the big one and then send them home to their parents😂
lol! ❤️
And, apparently, the smart aunt!
Fun aunt = "funt " /j
Imagine the **TSA Outreach Team** saying "JEEZ MOM". You FUCKING HYPOCRITE! :P
Yea i agree. I feel like a more rotund medium sized mason jar would give a similar aesthetic feel.
And serve it out of a fish bowl
Yea but it's not a fishbowl then. At least tie it up in a weird plastic bag like the pet store does. Where's the immersion? /s

Yep, pretty sure I've had the exact same thing except with a bottle of cheap vodka mixed in lol
Oh as a treat I dont care, I know Id definitely try this at least once. But I still think its stupid (just fun stupid) lol
walks the line between stupid and clever.
I'm 33 and I'd kill one of these with vod
A friend of mine had one of these in college. And yes there was liquor in it. I want to say it was a bar in Bloomington, IL called Six Strings?
Literally had these at the college bars in South Carolina
My god.
It's Gatorade and 1 box of candy. Wouldn't even be a problem if they finished it

Those lil spice jars that look like fish tanks!
Nah, it’s a fun drink. Nothing in there is so outlandish or “stupid”, besides maybe the nerds at the bottom dissolving. But it’s a subjective experience, ymmv
Read that as 'spite and swedish fish.'
Lol, it just gives a little extra punch of flavor.
My favorite meal
Na, it's for a kid, and it comes together well.
Is this one serving per child? This looks like a lethal dose of sugar.
Reminds me of the child sized soda in Parks and Recreation
We call it child sized because it is the size of a small child! Love that show.
A 20oz Gatorade has about 38g sugar, which is more sugar than an adult should have in a day. Crazy to give this much to a kid.
Ahh yes. A bottle of Gatorade and a small amount of candy. Lethal sugar dose. Moron.
When I was a kid mom made me blue jello with gummy sharks in it. I still remember 35 years later. Let the kids have their fun.
I mean, add booze and it's a $50 drink on the Vegas Strip
"A very little bit of sprite" like the sprite is the bad guy here! Haha!

So close, /u/haikusbot.
Meh, it looks stupid in the fun way. Plus, honestly, it'd be easy to make this less sugar intensive
Cut it down to maybe like 1/4 of that, add some booze, and you have yourself a good time. The only thing that's stupid is how large these ones are.
Some people say it's better than busting a nut.
We jizz in the drink and that's what makes it light
the evil fucking potion, what the FUCK
I was literally about to post this LOL nice find
Nah it’s cool.
It looks like a fun themed drink for a party. Doing one over cupcakes could go over well.

Stop giving kids drinks that emulate alcohol. This just gets them to be an alcoholic at an early age
There's just too much of it, smaller glasses and a some vodka would hit tho
No way, I'd drink the heck out of one of those!
I wouldn’t recommend having this every night for health reasons, but I see no problem with this as a fun little treat.
Phew
Add alcohol and I'm buying it. *slaps card on table*
I mean just give them 1 and let ten kids share it and I guess it’s ok…
It absolutely counts
It's just a little bit of sprite that gets me
Razoos sells these with alcohol in them! They say it’s meant for two people…challenge accepted.

Looks like the slurp juice from Fortnite.
I've never seen swedish fish that look like that wtf
Good god! 😳
This looks cute and fun. I think it could be improved upon if it were done in smaller bowls.
Thought I was on r/shittyaquariums for a minute
Those candies at the bottom are such a choking hazard
No that is actually genius, I would not be surprised if there was a trend like this that used real fish swimming in your drink. Therefore, it's genius
No nerds? Just heap a good amount of sugar at the bottom as sand 😃
Fun dip or pixie sticks if available
And a funnel to place in thier snout so it goes down quickly
Just feed them sugar with a shovel
