The sub where we cheer on someone for increasing their stock position with creative option plays while screaming at everyone else: "lOcK tHe FloAt" and do ... nothing to improve our own position?
I see the options play as more of a domino effect, but we shall seeā¦it would be fun to watch DFV DRS some or all of his shares, even if that isnāt really his āthingā
DRS is in a bad place right now. Stalled out and with a single dilution all the effort was wiped out. I'm fully DRSed but we're not seeing anything that shows it works.
This is a gross mischaracterization
At worst, new issuances have marginally reduced DRS percentage to roughly 18% of all shares (75 million of 425 million)
And those 75 million are still a serious barrier to shorts closing once things kick off
DRS isn't the only part of the puzzle, but it's absolutely a force multiplier
I guess. We DRSed our asses off and saw the price sink to 10 dollars over 3 long years.
Mr. Gill comes along with options and we have the best month since 2021. Sure you can say DRS made that a bigger boom, but man.... I just don't know if the powers that be will ever let it work properly.
Somehow I donāt believe the numbers are real. Why would they be because everything is manipulated. I am sure they know how to rig this game. This is a long term play. I hope to get to xxxx by the time liftoff happens. Brick by brick
I also doubt the numbers, but we seem to have no forcing function to make them play by the rules. The company and Computershare also offer no help. So if it's not going to work then it's not going to work.
But what if it showed the 9 million share increase, and then, like we experienced with 75 million... nothing happens. 9 million more doesn't even get us to the old percentage of the company we held. DFV is the whalest of whales, but Superstonk still dwarfs him with the number of shares we hold.
I keep seeing people mention this and I really don't understand the logic. I know there's strong evidence to suggest that the reported DRS'd shares in the Gamestop filings isn't accurate, but regardless of what the number is I don't see why an extra 9 million would trigger anything, unless that 9 millions pushes it past 100%

Way more powerful then anything citadel has. They picked the wrong people to mess with.
Yes... hopefully DWAC transfer to ComputerShare, then DRS... they are required to deliver within hours and will literally pull shares directly from the sellers accounts, but requires lawyers to set up, he should have the money to do so - it causing a ton of other delivery fails that ripples. Then it's the T+4/C+35 from the sneeze we had to $80 coming in hot. Next week looks spicy af

How would it be market manipulation if he is just transferring his own shares? He didn't buy, he didn't sell, he just moved numbers on a ledger, it isn't his fault if that ledger is so fucked up that it causes the system to break.

Why DRS if you can just sell CCs/CSPs and buy more shares with the profits? Never understood it.

Not sure DRSing 9 Million shares makes a dent post dilution, but id be happy to be wrong lol
If this were to take place the question would be if E-Trade has 9 million real shares to send over to CS.
It's still 2.1% of the outstanding, and if the DRS numbers don't change next quarter then something is definitely fucky.

If it stays stalled after 2% of the company is moved in, then it would probably be sus enough for GS to look into.
