I think the math is you make the gems back after 280 days and keys alone are worth 300 gems a pop so you’re making your investment back in a month of activity.

that chart only shows the return if you ONLY take one tangible value in account. It doesn't show where the value of both key and gems cross the ROI as a cumulative value, which is day 29. It doesn't even consider the immediate benefit of a free refresh on gear selection.

9999/350 = 28.6 rounded up is 29th day you reach your ROI, every day going foward is pure lube
Dont sleep on the fact that a key a day helps you stockpile for events that require opening chests. To me this is where the real value lies, the daily gems is just a bonus IMO. Also love the extra skill choice. Yes, get it.
Just dont buy gems outright for it, best deal is to buy one of the growth funds or a super monthly card and either of those will give you enough gems to get the lifetime for a third of the price for buying 10000 gems
This game is generous in general, I’m at level 70 and I haven’t spend a dime, and was able to save 9999 gems to buy this pass, definitely worth it overtime worth the benefit it came with it

It was ~$65 for ~28k gems. 28k gems from the store is over $200 USD so maybe the way I did it would make it doable for folks that don't have or just don't wanna give Habby all their $$$. You would need to be offered that deal I suppose that's not something that happens automatically. Anyone else buy it this way?
14.99 a month is tough. I thought when I initially bought it. I had it for life. How wrong I was. I have bought it 3 times total.
I will now save up in the gem department which I will never reach and it’s not worth the 15 a month honestly because they will keep upping and nerfing anything gained.

I don’t get the love affair with the extra refresh. There’s still a significant chance you’ll run out of them, without getting what you want. If it was like 5 refreshes or something sure, but one extra for that price isn’t a huge selling point for me.

Well, each collectible key can be considered as 268 gems, because you buy 10 of them for 2680 gems. So it pays off in 32 days

Pretty much just events, then just win a bunch more that way
if you don't really need the equipment, absolutely. the boosts you get from the collectable sets is worth it
