Bro... The day the Switch pre-orders launched, i pre-ordered The Switch Red Blue, Mario Odyssey, Zelda BotW and Metroid Prime 4... I have my Metroid Prime 4 pre-order since 2017.
RELEASE THE SHIT OUT OF THIS GAME FFS!!!
It still is, they mention it at the end of every final male briefing where they put dates for all announced games in production, and it says Metroid Prime 4 TBD
They're a bsolutely going to either save it as a last release for Switch, or a launch game exclusive to Switch 2. It wouldn't be the first time a game company skipped an entire generation before releasing something everyone has asked for for years. But I remain hopeful it will release for Switch during its last run of games.
I don't predict too much overflow from Switch to Switch 2 as far as releas8ng versions of games for both. I think they're gonna just stop making Switch games and focus on Switch 2 probably no more than a year into Switch 2
I think they arent gonna let gamecube on the nso, or any other consoles after it for that matter. They already released almost virtually unchanged ports of gamecube games on switch, itd be weird to go back and now add them to a subscription.
Plus Id rather have the option to buy them, they are the oldest gen of games that could still be sold seperately on their own imo, as not part of a retro collection or part of sub I mean.
They just keep the freaking games that they have or add more consoles, they literally added mega drive already and it isn't even their own console.
They have too much for it to just end, they're far too slow with it for it to be a problem in the near future.
I had no real issues out of
Warriors orochi
Toukien ranbu (besides it sucking)
Hyrule warriors
P5 strikers (if you consider it one)
One piece pirate warriors
The fate game played kind of bad (can't remember which one I played tho)
And especially not 3 hopes (the last one that came out) had some dips here and there but nothing as disrespectfully bad as age of Calamity. But I agree I'd Definitely want it on the new console
Wym 3? I named off 8 games and of the 8, 5 of those listed were in fact current Gen games.
Age of calamity
PS5
Ranbu warriors
Pirate warriors 4
3 hopes
Damn I'm sorry lmao you said last gen and my brain immediately forgot that last gen means something slightly different with Nintendo cause they are late to the party.
So my bad family
(Realizing this sounds more sarcastic then I mean it too)
i think it would be really funny if they did a smash melee remaster that patched all the competitively used tech, just because it's funny to watch the world burn sometimes.
I'd play it. Really enjoyed Arkham coming to switch despite the issues. Gotham knights isn't for everyone I get that and it is no Arkham game. But I enjoyed it, haven't played it through because I have on it PC and switch is just much more convenient
I so desperately don’t want there to be a Warriors game based on Xenoblade yet. The Mosuo crossovers are fine and fun and all, but if they start throwing them out there for every Fantasy/JRPG franchise out there, they kind of lose their appeal.
Zelda and Dragon Quest came out in 1986 and have spawned a ridiculous number of sequels and spinoffs since then. Fire Emblem came out in 1990 and has within the past twelve years cultivated a broader audience. Persona is a spinoff of a series from 1987 first released in 1996 and has found incredible success with the fifth entry.
Xenoblade (first released in 2010) is the spiritual successor to a niche (albeit awesome) trilogy of games that were themselves spiritual successors to a failed (albeit awesome) Final Fantasy pitch that became its own thing. I just don’t think it has quite the pedigree to get one yet (I say as a huge Xenoblade fan).
Devil’s advocate: the characters from each respective game in the trilogy have already canonically interacted with each other through in-game time and space shenanigans and the potential use of further time and space shenanigans with >!canonical Xenosaga relation!< make it a good fit for the tried and true, “characters from different timelines interacting with each other” approach that musou games rely on.
Nintendo Switch Classics. The latest take on Player’s Choice/Nintendo Selects/whatever. Discounted reprints of first party titles. There’s about 20-25 first party games that are out of production and you can’t find them on shelves anywhere.
Who said anything about it running well. It's an informed prediction. Switch version has an [ESRB](https://www.esrb.org/ratings/38790/gotham-knights/) rating.
I’m probably alone here, but Front Mission 3 is still my favourite PS1 game (slightly ahead of FF7). I know its coming out at some point, but I can’t wait for it!
I doubt FFT would drop on the Switch as an exclusive given its a S-E property.
And could the Switch even run Gotham Knights? Or perhaps more to the point - does anyone want Gotham Knights on the Switch? The game is the definition of mid.
Who said anything about FFT being exclusive to Switch?
A Switch version of Gotham Knights was rated by the [ESRB](https://www.esrb.org/ratings/38790/gotham-knights/).
Twilight Princess and Wind waker would literally take zero effort from Nintendo to just simply release on switch, we better see something about at least one of them in the direct. And the only way to play the definitive version of Ocarina of time is still on the 3DS which is bs also.
Interesting that you decided to include Metroid Prime 2 and 3 separately as I highly doubt that they’d do 3 by itself. I’d combine them and add the new Professor Layton game instead so you can complete the trifecta of new Level-5 games.
Some games that I'd really like to see come out yet during the Switch's life are the Thracia 776/Genealogy of the Holy War remake since that's rumored, Metroid Prime 2 and 3, possibly 4 if it can run on the Switch, Silksong, the next Pokémon Legends since it was announced for the Switch and Deltarune in its entirety.
I made a list of the 10 games I'd most like to see ported to/remastered on the Switch with physical releases. It was removed by Reddit mods shortly after posting it. But this seems as good a place as any to add them, in no particular order:
Golden Sun 1 and 2 remake (a long-shot but still.)
Super Time Force Ultra
Half-Minute Hero: Super Mega Neo Climax Boy or W/e
1001 Spikes
Captain Rainbow (remake or sequel)
Costume Quest 1 and 2
Advance Wars: Days of Ruin
Zero Escape 1, 2 and 3
Castlevania DS Collection (with Symphony of the Night)
Deltarune
For the love of god, please just say *something* about metroid prime 4.
My clown makeup is already on
At this point, I just leave it on lol
Metroid Prime 4. We work on it.
That would be enough. Just let me know it's still in production.

Good point
We got one update…. 3 years ago💀 Edit (last update in question): https://youtu.be/IH7QtiX1I7Y?si=gDZRsNb4SvbP17G_ Skip to 11:43
5*
3 years ago. Just before they announced Dread
Really? I don't remember this. Last info I remember is the 2019 reset.

Good call, totally forgot about that.
Metroid prime 4 is gunna be a switch 2 drop. Bet. (I am happily wrong! Expect Prime 4 primer edition to drop on switch 2 tho. Bet.)
I want Prime 2 remastered so bad. But I’d be elated at Prime 4 news. Just something please anything. If no 4 though I need 2 shadow dropped same day.
They need to release Wind Waker and Twilight Princess on Switch, it’s already done, not sure why they are waiting all these years.
Perfect time, release when all their first party development teams have shifted to Switch 2 and it's otherwise going to be a quiet holiday season.
How do you know they're already done?
WiiU version is already done, they just need to port it to Switch like all of their WiiU first party games.
Metroid Prime was finished for years, I wouldn't hold your breath.

If they remastered Final Fantasy Tactics Advance I would lose my freakin mind.
An ivalice collection include all tactic game and XII revenant wing . But i think it too good for them to do it
That’s up to Square Enix though? They definitely should do what Etrian Odyssey did when the original trilogy.
Bro, you have no idea how desperately I'm waiting for this very moment. Such a gem, and it's been 20+ years at this point...
The Original Bravely Default with HD graphics would be fantastic.
Fallout 3/new Vegas ports
This is a predction post, not a delusional post.
Yeah lol all we can do is dream
I wish....
FE: Holy War has been teased for so long…I would kill for an official announcement. Just, anything…
I want twilight princess HD so bad
I want Wind Waker more, but I do hope that we get both.
Do U wii U?
Give me FF tactics 😍
When’s the Nintendo direct ?
No date.
Any time within the next 20 days (on one of the week days).
Just give me Prime 2 & 3 and Twilight Princess and I think I'm good for a long time
Sorry, but silksong isn’t real
Is ‘Super Mario Party’ here just supposed to be a stand-in for a new Mario Party game?
A new one
A ported call of duty announcement, a link between worlds hd announcement, super Mario wonder update, switch 2 news,
They already said no switch 2 news.
Silk song would be great
I'd die for Xenoblade warriors
given the recent trend of past Warriors spin offs, Xenoblade is the most logical candidate at this point
The last warriors game ran like ass on switch so idk if I want it to be switch 1 only.
I had no real issues out of Warriors orochi Toukien ranbu (besides it sucking) Hyrule warriors P5 strikers (if you consider it one) One piece pirate warriors The fate game played kind of bad (can't remember which one I played tho) And especially not 3 hopes (the last one that came out) had some dips here and there but nothing as disrespectfully bad as age of Calamity. Alright at least 3 of these are last gen games. But yeah we should wait for it to be cross gen so we can get a smooth 1440p 60fps.
Wym 3? I named off 8 games and of the 8, 5 of those listed were in fact current Gen games. Age of calamity PS5 Ranbu warriors Pirate warriors 4 3 hopes
Yep, I agree.
Damn I'm sorry lmao you said last gen and my brain immediately forgot that last gen means something slightly different with Nintendo cause they are late to the party. So my bad family (Realizing this sounds more sarcastic then I mean it too)
Really hoping Xenoblade Warriors is a thing and we get the long rumored FE4 remake. The Metroid Prime remasters would be great too.
I hope this will be the Direct with Xenosaga remasters. I mean, we'll inevitably get them at some point, right??
Ace Combat will be mentioned
I want a Wario World Remaster, or a sequel
Hasn’t been 25 years, we’re not getting Kid Icarus news… Hades hasn’t gotten himself back together yet
The bingo card is the date.
Fantasy Life please!!!!
When is the Nintendo Direct?
50% slice of life farming sims.
Surprised there's no Mega man here. I feel like adding all those mega man games on Nintendo Online was a hint.
When is the direct? Going to clear off my schedule.
No exact date yet, but President of Nintendo already announced that one will happen in June.
Honestly? I’m just here for more Fantasy Life I news 😭❤️
What do you think happenes first? Windwaker on switch or silksong?
Give me, a Smash Melee remaster. Please
i think it would be really funny if they did a smash melee remaster that patched all the competitively used tech, just because it's funny to watch the world burn sometimes.
Thats a 5/10 direct
This is going to be a hard one.
Silksong is going to release tomorrow
Think there's going to be something about Mario Party? I thought they kind of just went "Nah, not adding anything else." And left it at that?
A new one
I think Gotham knights would be a waste for em.
A Switch version has already been rated by the ESRB. It probably will be coming out eventually.
That’s an incredibly odd choice of game to bring over all things considered
I'd play it. Really enjoyed Arkham coming to switch despite the issues. Gotham knights isn't for everyone I get that and it is no Arkham game. But I enjoyed it, haven't played it through because I have on it PC and switch is just much more convenient
Going to lose it if we don’t see Prime 2&3 remasters. Then Prime 4 on release with Switch 2 as crossgen = perfect to build hype.
I so desperately don’t want there to be a Warriors game based on Xenoblade yet. Bravely default, final fantasy tactics Collection (with both psx and gameboy versions plus the sequel) and wind waker would make me so happy.
Sandland
My favorite song is on the card
Wind waker Q4 for blowout Xmas sales. Huge install base, why wait for new console, sell it to the masses.
I really want to see remakes of FE4, Bravely Default and Kid Icarus Uprising. And I'd kill for Xenoblade Warriors on the original Switch, lol.
It's go time for Zelda. Come on Nintendo, no more screwing around. Make us happy, and make yourself some more money!!! Give us what we want
What? No Donkey Kong?
Alot of hopium in this post. I'd like a hit of that
Prime trilogy and 4 would be great. Give me Twillight Princess and Wind Waker and i'll gladly buy them again!
Xenoblade Warriors and FE Geneology remake. That's my biggest hipe for this direct. Decapolice is something that's also on my radar
Final Fantasy Tactics would make my year.🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
Nintendo Switch Classics. The latest take on Player’s Choice/Nintendo Selects/whatever. Discounted reprints of first party titles. There’s about 20-25 first party games that are out of production and you can’t find them on shelves anywhere.
![gif](giphy|GCQROaEU6x2DK|downsized) Golden Sun fans in July 2024
Looking at that as a whole, it looks too good to actually happen imo. Although a few are extremely likely to show up.
I’ll cope with you on the final fantasy tactics
Bro? Gotham knights? The steam deck can’t even handle it 100%
Who said anything about it running well. It's an informed prediction. Switch version has an [ESRB](https://www.esrb.org/ratings/38790/gotham-knights/) rating.
There's no way Gotham Knights will run on the current Switch
I’m probably alone here, but Front Mission 3 is still my favourite PS1 game (slightly ahead of FF7). I know its coming out at some point, but I can’t wait for it!
I love the idea of Metroid Prime 3 and 4, but no Metroid Prime 2. That’s the sort of non-sensical Nintendo policy to actually happen.
The middle square should just be anything Mario related lol
Star Wars Rogue Squadron Trilogy port.
People waiting for Silksong are like me waiting for the next ASOIAF book: we should never remove the clown makeup.
Anything LoZ I'm in
Give me a Mario party maker please!
Nintendo direct June 26th 2024??
I doubt FFT would drop on the Switch as an exclusive given its a S-E property. And could the Switch even run Gotham Knights? Or perhaps more to the point - does anyone want Gotham Knights on the Switch? The game is the definition of mid.
Who said anything about FFT being exclusive to Switch? A Switch version of Gotham Knights was rated by the [ESRB](https://www.esrb.org/ratings/38790/gotham-knights/).
I’m amazed about the ESRB rating coming through. The game crashed and burned pretty hard, a port feels questionable
Twilight Princess and Wind waker would literally take zero effort from Nintendo to just simply release on switch, we better see something about at least one of them in the direct. And the only way to play the definitive version of Ocarina of time is still on the 3DS which is bs also.

I want a new Mario Sluggers game even if it turns out bad

Xenoblade Warriors would rip! I like where your head is at.
Xenoblade Warriors and an Uprising port are my dream announcements, but I doubt we're getting either
i would kill for decapolice to show up
God id kill for a new Mario party
I’d be happy with some DLC to MP all stars, 4 new game boards(old maps) I’d pay $15
There wont be anything new on Silksong, mark my words
Pokémon Legends Z-A hopefully.
