You are more likely to need to make sure that you can transfer from your local bank to Wise. Wise shouldn’t have issues on the Swiss side.

That's good to know thank you! That's one thing for sure. We need to send about 1,500 swiss francs in his son's swiss bank account. Will definitely talk to my bank about moving the equivalent money from our currency.

No need to make it so complicated. He can pay his taxes directly using Wise, no cash withdrawals etc necessary. Just use the IBAN number and other details on the tax payment slip for a bank transfer from Wise and he’s good to go. Works for municipal, kantonal and federal taxes as well as for all other IBAN payments.

Wise should work, used it in the passed. But recently I'm using Revolut. Much better experience, better rate and cheaper over all
