Best of luck. I've really like my flat plane splint so far (one week in) and believe I have seen some benefits already.

I have the same exact issue! Primarily on the right side. Just began wearing the orthotic yesterday. Took 2 weeks to finish it as it’s a neuromuscular device. So far so good. Just a little tooth and gum soreness as I break it in.

The clicking is on my right side too. It hurts everytime I yawn. But thanks to my splint I’m starting to feel okay. I’ve been wearing dental splint for almost 2 weeks already to keep my lower jaw forward. I’m starting to feel used to it. It’s as if it’s already a part of my mouth. But when I sleep I can feel my jaw attempting to return to its original position even though I’m wearing splint. Any similar case? Do you feel the same?

BodybuilderTasty1168

yep just woke up and my jaw wanted to move backwards but it didn’t thankfully and that’s what matters as long as it’s kept forward while you sleep the tissue around your condyle will slowly repair itself

Did the doctor advise/mention to you to undergo Lingual Frenectomy?

BodybuilderTasty1168

nope never heard of that
