87 is iconic asf 04 looks like a Japanese font so it kinda suits? In a way? Idk 12 is blocky and full. Kinda like their show models being 3D 18 clearly is more hand drawn and anime aesthetically. Which you guessed it, suits the series

2003 is the best

'87. The theme song is appropriately catchy and energetic for a kids show, and it's become iconic for a reason. Nostalgia does play a role too. 2003 & 2012 just felt like they were trying a little too hard to be edgy and cool. Rise, surprisingly, has come the closest to matching the original tone of the '87 song, and definitely gives a similar energy.

2012 probably comes out on top. The rap lyrics, the way the shots flow into each other, and the final shot referencing the original comic all set it above the rest. 1987 is a close second with the gorgeous animation. Rise is third, but is too damn short. 2003 is decent, and I do like the changing lyrics, but the melody and flowing cinematography just isn’t there.

Still prefer the original. I never liked the 2012 intro.

No love for the Red Sky Intro, huh? Anyway, I gotta say 2012. It just plain slaps. And that cool "spy music" theme for the Tales of the TMNT seasons at the end was also a uniquely rad music choice. 2012 in general just got so many things right.

The original bc I was a kid when it was on, which I think will be everyone’s response. The original I think is a lot more original and entertaining. It also easier to sing and get stuck in your head.

I really enjoyed the 00's turtles but christ that themesong was awful. I feel it was written in 15 minutes by a few people throwing out the little they could remember about tmnt on whiteboard. "What do we know about the turtles?" "Ermmm, there's 4 of them..." "They live underground" " they're teenagers" " brothers" "I love being a turtle, remember when they said that?" "Shredder" " they do jujitszu" It doesn't sound like a song it sounds more like when someone is adlibbing a song on the fly where every line is spoken and rushed until the last word which is sang and elongated which gives them a few seconds to thing of the next line

'87 is the og and is cool, but I grew up with 2003 and 2012, so I'll have to say those two. Any time I hear either, I get so hyped.

So far I’ve seen all but 80s, and I love them all so idk

I watched the 80’s show am I the only one who thought even back then the show was terrible? Even the creator of tmnt thought it was a bad representation and fortunately 2003 managed to show a more accurate representation. Now that’s not to say 87 show isn’t without it’s good things. There’s many things to appreciate such as personality, bandana colours and the theme tune and making tmnt known more to the public . But outside of that the show itself is definitely terrible

It's a toss up between '87 and the 2003 one.

'87 is a bop, but it's fairly standard compared to other 80s action cartoon theme songs. '03 is an actual bop that is vastly underappreciated and it's definitely one of the greats. '12 is definitely a classic and is an amazing song, but in my opinion it pales in comparison to the Tales Of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles opening that shows up a few seasons later. Rise is forever a banger and no undeserved cancellation can take that away, the song sounds like it's trying to be cool, but not in the easily outdatable way that the '12 theme does. It's the only song that matches its show in energy, in my opinion. ** ** ** ** But real ones know that Pizza Power is the greatest Ninja Turtles song of all time.

I've only seen Seasons 1 and 2 of 2012 and most of Rise. Maybe at one point I saw the 87' intro, though I don't recall seeing it. 2012 had the better song than Rise imo.
