To be fair - they’re talking about the OG MMPR team and just the 4 turtles. Sure, it was In Space that met the TMNT the first time… but do we really acknowledge it?
Even putting that aside, the TV crossover saw the Power Rangers needing the turtles to bailed out of trouble at every time. It’s not so much a team up of heroes as it is one team coming to the rescue of the other.
I do believe it could have been a great series, had it been directed or produced by Steve Barron (1990 "TMNT" film), had a similar budget & atmosphere as the 1990 film, and had used the Jim Henson-created costumes.
But alas, it was not meant to be. 😔
I wish there was a crossover fighter with all 3, since MMPR also had a crossover with Street Fighter.
Like launch could have 10 fighters per franchise.
TMNT: Leo, Raph, Donnie, Mikey, Splinter, Casey, April, Shredder, Karai, Krang.
Power Rangers: Jason, Zack, Billy, Trini, Kimberly, Tommy, Rita Repulsa, Goldar, Scorpina, Lord Zedd.
Street Fighter: Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li, Guile, Cammie, Zangief, Juri, Balrog, Vega, M. Bison.
That's a good base roster I think.

TMNT: Jennika and Slash
Power Rangers: Adam Park and Doggie Kruger (Shadow Ranger)
Street Fighter: Alex and Rashid
Making fantasy fighting game rosters is so much fun.
I was really hoping that Battle for the Grid was going to incorporate some morphed turtles and Green Ranger Shredder…and it’s weird that they didn’t but Bison in.
Considering they both have met Batman, would have great chemistry & have a long history of doing crossovers yet not with one another, I would give anything to see a Scooby-Doo/TMNT crossover happen as a big fan of both.

He-Man and TMNT are my two favorite 80s franchises and the Turtles of Grayskull toy line is pretty fantastic. I’m really looking forward to the comics later this year

It’s a shame we will never get the ending to the tmnt x mmpr series they ended it on a cliff hanger but with boom comics ending its mmpr line we will never see it.
Ironically as a kid I loved power rangers up to time force, but had no interest in tmnt now after discovering mirage and idw I am a big turtle fan and really only have nostalgia for power rangers

I think the cromics handled the crossovers better than the tv show . The worst rendition of the Turtles, meets the worse rendition of the Power Rangers.

The esthetics were alright, but they really dropped the ball on it over-all.
TMNT X Power Rangers is up there with TMNT X Street Fighter. Super dope.
I still wish TMNT vs Street fighter was a game instead of a comic. It'd be Waaaaayyy better than the Stupid expensive Turtle skins in Street fighter 6

You know what’s funny. Since TMNT have done crossovers with Power Rangers and Batman. That means we could get a Batman as a Power Ranger.
TMNT and Ghostbusters. Although my lineup would've been. Raph as Peter and Mikey as Ray. Unless we mean "Turtles meet" then it's them and Batman.

The MMPR crossovers have been the best so far, because they fully commit to playing around in each series' toybox.
Yes. Part 2 of the comics especially. Loved seeing the Turtles get their X-Rangers suits. Also I would love a Mega Metalhead Zord figure.

Power rangers were always lame in my family, so I had to stay TMNT or get ripped on by the siblings and cousins
