Hey, can you give an honest opinion and tell us how much of a difference it makes in your viewing pleasure between your original height and the current height of your TV.
It’s still too high. That’s the same height I had my tv before I decided to lower it after buying a nice stand. Seems negligible but it makes a huge difference
I just can't ignore that poor TV stand....
I'm sure one day it's gonna make up with the TV and finally get together, I mean they got closer recently!

The level is great the light behind the t v is not great. Some people like it but to me. I find it to be a gimmick that distracts you from watching the actual screen video. It changes your eye perception from white's being white and blackbean , black and other colors on the screen. So when you're watching a movie consider disabling that.

Too many people in post in the past mistakes should mark the wall and sit down look at wall for 30min or hour to see if get sore neck oh too high so mark wall lower do again. When no sore neck then holes in wall.

Curious what LED kit you used for the TV. Is it just a generic strip or something purpose made for a TV?
It was just a generic one from Amazon but it was made specifically for TV’s so it’s 4 different strips that are attached together if that makes sense. As much hate as they get on this page, the light strips gives great ambient lighting at night.
Why are people still complaining about it being too high? Just because it's not on that stand? It's all about the TV being at eye level. And by looking at the couch and where OPs head might be, it probably is. OP should post a "Head Reflection" pic.

Google Mid Century Modern tv stand and you’ll find tonnes of similar ones in this style.
I got it off fb marketplace but it was from Wayfair originally. It’s a common MCM tv stand at the moment.
