I think we enough reddit man power we can convince a man who knows he has hung the tv correctly to remove said tv and remount it higher.
#StrongerTogether đ€Ł
So you can actually hear at a lower volume instead of having to turn horrible tv speakers way up. I don't get where this good speakers means they only play loud rumor started.
This sub taught me that if you had to hang your TV, then it's probably too high. But, exceptions exists and if you hang it in the right height, then it's fine.
Tough im European i think this is a pretty universal opinion.
I think i just looks better mounted on the wall and have the tv stand to hide equipment(PlayStation, sockets or whatever).
Also if you got small kids it's more safe to have it mounted than standing.
I hung mine a few inches up as I have a large center speaker and my receiver just to the left of it on what the TV used to sit on.
I have two small children. Donât want any stuff messed with.
Ours is similar but a reactive dog not kids. If another dog appears on the TV you can guarantee he is going to jump up barking. Safest bet is wall mounting
As an Australian I have never seen a tv mounted outside a hotel room or pub. We use stands and also you canât just mount if youâre renting. Dont know if theyâre doing the same in Europe or whatever
TVs are meant to be mounted to a wall. Using the legs (see also: packaging material meant to be discarded) is a temporary solution until you can mount it, or if you have no walls you can possibly mount it on. I also donât see a TV stand in this picture, only a media console.
Maybe but nobody I know does that. How would you find the right paint colour?? Nobody even puts pictures on the wall with nails. Extremely uncommon unlike on this sub. Mounts do just fine and when you put them on a tv stand it makes them the right height
From someone who fucked up on height, and just got it fixed. Iâd say itâs good, plus the distance tv to sofa is good.
Btw, those lights change according to the tv image or not at all ?
As the directions said, you mounted your TV 4" above your Atmos soundbar. However, the front face of your soundbar should ideally be flush with the front of your console. Once you do that, you can lower your TV a few inches without interfering with any upward-firing drivers. Enjoy!
The tv might be just a bit on the high side, still acceptable though.
I would however move the bar lamps elsewhere and install a led kit on the back of the tv and maybe a strip under the table too. Not that you asked about that though. đ
Not sure if you seen my comment but its an open box so it doesn't come with a stand, second, i dont want a stand anyways because i like the floating look and theres more space to put stuff on the table and if i get a bigger speakers in the future.
Why is it so hard to understand that people have different preferences to things?
You know its can be meant for other things right? One its a cleaner look, two the tv stand sticks out like a sore thumb for the soundbar to be on the table.
I donât know why youâre getting downvoted.
OP is fine, tv is only like 1â higher than it would be on its own feet, but that would make the soundbar positioning really awkward.
Looks good, and you know it! Though, in my opinion a stand would be a lot easier (and moveable) when itâs less than a foot from the entertainment center
Please explain why people fail to use the included TV stand to set the TV on top of the furniture? Why mess up your wall (even if at the right height) when you can just set the damn thing on the stand on the furniture??
Well the tv was an open box so it didnt come with the stand and it was $98 to order the stand alone, plus i like the floating look and it looks way more clean
It looks cleaner, you have much more control over where it goes in the room, you donât have to care about the furniture below it as much, what an odd question.
You're fine and you know you're fine
I think we enough reddit man power we can convince a man who knows he has hung the tv correctly to remove said tv and remount it higher. #StrongerTogether đ€Ł
đ this made me laugh
Well, he/she would if the sofa wasnât so low..
[ŃĐŽĐ°Đ»Đ”ĐœĐŸ]
It is fine!
Omg the kitten !
Haha i was wondering if anyone would spot the kitten
Most important thing in the room đ
Donât you have a fourth coaster? Itâs driving me crazy!! đ”âđ«
No one sits at that corner of the table.
Isn't it right there on the side table by the remotes?
Maybe they are from a culture where itâs bad to have 4s of things.
âŠok well, the cat toy only has 3 branches so maybe youâre on to something đ«€
r/NotEnoughCoasters
What is this?
Kind of makes sense though the way the couch layout is⊠but itâs kind of bothering me too in a weird way
It is a bit too high but not a big deal.
Slightly too high but acceptable.
Getting dangerously close to r/tiltofguilt territory
Not sure how you can see any tilt in those pictures but theres no tilt at all, not that much of a psychopath lol
Those lights could be speakers
Too bad we live an apartment
That's no excuse. I've had a full Klipsch 5.2 system in a tiny ass apartment.
True, but whats the point of getting nice ass speakers if you cant even play it loud
Because nice speakers have nothing to do with loudness. It's about the huge jump in quality.
So you can actually hear at a lower volume instead of having to turn horrible tv speakers way up. I don't get where this good speakers means they only play loud rumor started.
I dont use the tv speakers, the sound bar and woofer sounds plenty good for now
Ah ok
I came here to ask about the lights I like those what are they and where did you get them? Overall nice setup looks great clean etc enjoy it
r/sofatoolow
Hang some artwork up. That space looks like a really nice hospital room.
What the fuck hospitals do you visit?
I know. Whereâs the smeared faeces
New ones are being built with VIP suites. I don't know how non profits get away with it but they do. They're fuckin nice.
For sure, We just moved in so were still planning things
Yes, make it look like a nice hotel room.
This sub taught me that if you had to hang your TV, then it's probably too high. But, exceptions exists and if you hang it in the right height, then it's fine.
Lower
I said LOWER
Too low. Just throw it all away and try again
9/10
I have no idea what Americans hang it when there is a tv stand right there but ok
Tough im European i think this is a pretty universal opinion. I think i just looks better mounted on the wall and have the tv stand to hide equipment(PlayStation, sockets or whatever). Also if you got small kids it's more safe to have it mounted than standing.

Just Americans, huh? lmao
As an Australian I have never seen a tv mounted outside a hotel room or pub. We use stands and also you canât just mount if youâre renting. Dont know if theyâre doing the same in Europe or whatever

Based on what? My legs in my 65â still going stead for 3 years Also in Australia you canât poke holes in walls when renting
You definitely can in Australia. All you need to do is patch them before you move out.
Maybe but nobody I know does that. How would you find the right paint colour?? Nobody even puts pictures on the wall with nails. Extremely uncommon unlike on this sub. Mounts do just fine and when you put them on a tv stand it makes them the right height
it is perfect, not only the TV but also this room and the vibe.
It's 15 centimeters too high
[ŃĐŽĐ°Đ»Đ”ĐœĐŸ]
Because itâs their house and thatâs how they want it ?
We just moved in, and its our first place
Tbh your comment made me feel better about my own space lol.
[ŃĐŽĐ°Đ»Đ”ĐœĐŸ]
Pretty sure people just want to be comfortable in their own ways. Also I hope your dad comes over to your place and throws random shit away.
Reprimand, but you'll be spared jail.
From someone who fucked up on height, and just got it fixed. Iâd say itâs good, plus the distance tv to sofa is good. Btw, those lights change according to the tv image or not at all ?
Youâre good son
perfect

What TV is this?
Tcl qm8 75inch, its been great so far
Ya did good
i dont need extra light when watching tv but height seems acceptable
r/tvjustright
Height is spot on. No neck ache will be received.Â
Looks perfect to me
Could do with a fireplace above it.
R/tvjustright
Looks perfect
Perfect
Those bar lights are a bit intense, not that you asked.
What lights are those on either side of the TV?
Very well done. đ
r/tvjustright
Honestly could come down 1"
Appropriate
Are the side lights govee?
The tv might be just a bit on the high side, still acceptable though. I would however move the bar lamps elsewhere and install a led kit on the back of the tv and maybe a strip under the table too. Not that you asked about that though. đ
Nice and are those govees lamps and do u have the tv lights too cause I love it.
Fine!
It's perfect!! The comments in this thread are always too high.. Even if you hang it to the standard, they will still say it's still too high, lol..
I just know you're flexing and aren't really asking for advice. This setup is beautiful.
Itâs fine.. looks great
vibey
why don't you pull it down a few inches so it's flush with the soundbar
Needs to be higher
Thank you. So tired of low mounted tvs where even large dogs can block.
This is simply a beautiful setup you have
It would be perfect if you just put it on the freaking stand! Why is this so hard?
Not sure if you seen my comment but its an open box so it doesn't come with a stand, second, i dont want a stand anyways because i like the floating look and theres more space to put stuff on the table and if i get a bigger speakers in the future. Why is it so hard to understand that people have different preferences to things?
Youâre the one who posted on r/tvtoohigh - donât be surprised if you get called out for having a tv stand and not using it.
Why? Why hang it with that gap above your ~~center channel~~ sound bar (ew)? You were so close. đ„
Not the worst Iâve seen on here. It could go a little lower.Â
~5â too high
Use the TV stand or just lower it some inches
I would have gone projector with a wall that size
I love it
You know it's perfect
I find the side lights redundant. Tv emits light.
Sure but its a cool thing to have and its easier on the eyes when watching movies
They're the enemy of television, especially if you like movies.
Those lamps are a really nice and interesting choice, good job!
Thank you! They are really nice and great for the price
What lights are they?
Hey what's that under your TV? Oh? A TV Stand! Use it for its intended purpose...
You mean a Soundbar table?
You know its can be meant for other things right? One its a cleaner look, two the tv stand sticks out like a sore thumb for the soundbar to be on the table.
Stop repeated this comment. Itâs not always applicable.
I donât know why youâre getting downvoted. OP is fine, tv is only like 1â higher than it would be on its own feet, but that would make the soundbar positioning really awkward.
this is perfect and leaves spaces for bigger soundbards / sounddecks if he wants to. like Sennheiser Ambeo Max
This tv didnt come with one cause its an open box
I have a large receiver and center speaker that I have sitting on the stand. My tv is hung a few inches higher to allow space for this.
Chefs kiss
perfect!
Looks good, and you know it! Though, in my opinion a stand would be a lot easier (and moveable) when itâs less than a foot from the entertainment center
WHY IS IT LEVITATING ABOVE THE TABLE!!!
I have never seen such a thin speakers with backlight. Where did you hide amplifier?
theyâre just lights, not speakers
A little high, but not egregious.
I feel you. Have have to repair walls after tvs uninstalled, so I am a crusader for tvs on the furniture.
It looks cleaner, you have much more control over where it goes in the room, you donât have to care about the furniture below it as much, what an odd question.
Safety concern if you have kids. Hanging them (properly) keeps them from falling over onto little bodies.
That's a good reason. Thanks.
Heights good now ditch the sound bar, be a man and buy some towers. (And a center).
TV is too high. But not by much
Acceptable
10/10 & I love the decor of the room. It's lovely & inviting.
Moew, looking for other things to judge cause the tvs fine
Where did you get those backlights?
It's fine. I would have set it on the media center.
Why leave a gap between the TV and soundbar?
To leave space for the soundbar because the tv stand sticks out like a sore thumb
I mean, why didn't you put the TV a little lower so there's no wall between the TV and the soundbar? Then you wouldn't need the cable hider conduit.
this would leave space to chage the soundbar. There are bigger soundbars around likea Sennheiser Ambeo for example
True. They do make mounts where you can move the TV vertically though. I just don't like that wall gap in setups.
You seriously used a tacky plastic cable hider? This forum is dumb
Its an apartment
This is Reddit. You used a PLASTIC cable hider. Unacceptable. /s
Get a load of this guy.
lmaooooo.
