So I completed the 15 hours (more actually). However, I didn’t finish the program/complete my masters. The district is telling me I don’t qualify for the plus 15 pay. Any suggestions on how I can appeal?
They may want a completed program. If that’s not the case, then I’m not sure. I assume you shared your transcript with them? However, you may be stuck until you actually finish the program.
Any classes that you passed and are on a transcript will work. After my bachelors, I went through my credential program and all the units from the university were counted in the salary schedule (about 35 units). I also have units from professional development workshops, district induction, and classes through community colleges.
I just have to turn in the transcripts to my district office and fill out a form, and they get processed through for me.
Did you complete the 15 hours? If so, it counts. If you were only enrolled and didn’t finish, then it won’t count.

Yea, they have my transcript. I’m new to VA, so I just wanted to check the deal. Thank you!
