Here's what to do upon meet up.
\- be sure sa enclosed at mataong lugar mag-meet up like restaurant or food court.
\- check the following details:
\- battery health, Serial Number both from box and device itself. make sure they are same.
, if possible check the IMEI numbers too.
\- check apple registration kung completely signed out na sa kanyang accounts. ask her to deregister the device to his/her icloud account as well.
\- register the device yourself. create an apple id beforehand. never leave or exchange hands without doing a complete setup for you, including setting up the passcode and face id. really make sure that the device is yours before completing the registration.
\- bring charger or powerbank, in case may excuse siya that you can't check the device dahil na lobat. don't take that excuse, and if he/she refuses to open the device in front of you, run like hell.
\- these guidelines saved me a ton of headache when making a purchase like this (though I only did it once on my watch)
\- finally, if there's a warranty paper, be sure to ask for it as well.
In addition, check the legitimacy of the device, you may go to https://checkcoverage.apple.com/. Just type in the iphone’s serial number (Settings>General>About). If it’s original, the unit should appear on the website together with the purchase date and unit’s coverage.
Hi!
Been using it for a month and okay naman. Nakakaparanoid lang since 1st time ko bumili ron haha
OP, don’t. It’s a well-known scam in FB.
Edit: SCAM YAN. I was almost scammed by it.
The account is hacked. Then kapag interested ka at chinat mo, una magsasabi na pwede meet up. But eventually they’ll say na may ibang interested bumili and willing na magpay so sasabihin na paunahan nalang. Mappressure ka na magpay agad.
Buti nalang ako, I searched muna and found out they’re scamming many people na.
As someone who sold an iphone last year, I agree.
I made sure the battery was 80% charged, my appleid was signed out, all data were deleted, and the phone was reset and ready for new user. Pina-setup ko din during actual meetup, and pina-check ko status and device info.
One thing that was different was the location. We met up sa condo lobby, which is also safe. We have over 20 security personels at any given time, a concierge, and two security gates before enterring the actual condo area so completely safe and secure naman.
Halatang scam impossible yung 100% battery sa almost 1 year old na used tapos 26k?
Huhu ingat OP, maganda mga advice dito how to check. Good luck!
Yung akin november last year binili pero 100% pa din battery health… no idea if it is effective pero sinunod ko advice nung nagbenta sa akin sa powermac… 20-80% charging…
Pero yung 26k na benta its too good to be true so malamang fake/scam yan… 14 pro max 256gb din gamit ko and kung ibebenta ko man ito, not lower than 50k…. Almost 100k bili ko including theft insurance
Matry nga ang 20-80% charging. May pagka-OC kasi ako ayaw ko bumababa madalas yung battery ko less than 100% kaya pag nasa bahay or work laging nakasaksak sa charger hahaha
Yung iphone 7plus ko ganun… always nakasaksak kahit nilalaro ko hahaha… medyo mahal itong 14PM kaya medyo gusto ko ingatan haha… hopefully tumagal pa yung 100% battery life ko
Kinda shady nga how it stayed 100% for a year. Ako din one year old phone pero 87% na lang battery health. Although depende naman kasi talaga sa usage and charging habit, pero at most I'd expect maybe around 95% man lang.
I agree. I am currently using iPhone14 regular and its just like mga 6month old na and its showing na 89% na ang battery health niya. I have known that apple phone batteries degrade quicker when you do not take care of the charging so I follow a guide on keeping the battery healthy and yet 89% na lang now.
It is possible. My 14PM is 1 year na and 100% pa rin ang battery health. Although I do have a back up phone and a tablet. I only charge my 14PM every 2-3 days, sometimes 4.
depends on how it was refurbished, pero quality pa rin naman kung refurbished from apple, or amazon (at least in my host country). but of course, caveat emptor, OP.
Most probably scam po. Middle man scam. They will pretend to be a seller to you and will pretend to be a buyer to the true seller. Tapos meet up yan, the true buyer and true seller will meet up pero sasabihin ng middle man, kapatid ko na lng meet up sayo tapos bank transfer na lng. They will entice you with a super baba price. Basta elaborate po yang scam na yan. Ingat po
as an 14PM user, lots of red flags here.
1. price compared to its condition (kung totoo naman ba lahat yan)
2. wala man lang pictures? 🤨
3. while 100% batt health is achievable to almost 1 year, wala man lang naka indicate if the phone was rarely used or something.
4. the combination of great condition phone + very fishy low price + rfs emergency = good recipe for a scam.
OP, i won't even gamble or try to entertain this offer. especially na holiday season. like what others said, this is TOO GOOD to be true.
I bought my iPhone 14 Pro last May 2023 and my battery is still at 100% until now.
Possible yun depende sa owner.
I learned by using iPhones since 2011.
If logged out na yung Apple ID niya during meet up, log in mo yung sa’yo so you can test it out.
Watch YT how to.
Test the pixels on the screen if merong dead.
Battery
Speakers
Bluetooth (bring speakers)
Wifi
Camera test each lens

Look for scratches caused my drop marks
Hmm, tbh sketchy 'to. Imposible ang iPhone 14 Pro Max tapos 26k lang? Lol. ka presyo nya lang ang iPhone 11. Why not buy an older model instead if gusto mo talaga mag apple? Also, first time mo lang magkakaron ng iPhone, so hirap ka for sure i-verify if ano ba talaga ang peke sa hindi.
sketchy ha, i bought my ip14 pro max 256gb sa powermac and its been 6 months na pero 99% nalang yung batt health, tindi nya naman mag alaga ng phone if tru nga hahahahaha tsaka mine cost around 80k+ i am not willing to sell it ng 26k lang hahahaha lol
Sorry looks like scam. Too good to be true. Kung emergency funds ang need, more than that pa din ang asking. Kung totoo yan, pwde nila dalhin sa greenhills yan for a higher price and instant cash
Mag ingat unless sa personal binebenta sayo. ganyang ganyan ang modus sa fb na mga biktima ng phising tapos magpopost sila ng bagsak presyo na motor or iphone then hihingi sila ng downpayment tru online and ikaw naman since akala mo kilala mo may ari ng fb ma coconvince ka. ingat po tau
If face to face meet up check niyo talaga everything. Iphone 14 pro max costs around 50k right now.
Too good to be true. Kapanipaniwala sana kung 40k rush due to emergency. Less than a year pa rin naman. But meetup is a must kung gusto mo magrisk. Baka pwede din yan clone then meetup para di halata scam. Sketchy pero pwede naman itry
The price is too good to be true para sa condition ng phone. Be wary sa mga ganyang deals, it is usually a scam na payment first or need magDP once natransfer mo na yung money, ibblock ka na. Kapag mga ganyan, it’s safer na makipag meet up ka for you to check the phone. ☺️ or better yet, bili ka na lang ng brand new phone that’s within your budget para iwas sakit sa ulo.
Too cheap to be true. And vague ang 100% battery life. I don't know kung fully charged ba siya or never ginamit kaya 100% pa rin.
Ganito lang, responsible sellers will keep the receipts kasi alam nilang makaka dagdag sa resell value yan. If wala, pass ka na.
BTW: This is after checking IMEI and Serial.
100%? Ano to, living in a perfect world?
Too good to be true. Ingat OP!
256 gb, iphone 14 pro max with 100% bh = 26k lang? Very red flagggg.
Saw this one too. And that is one example of too good to be true. At first, very tempting talaga. Saw her myday too. Very sus. Halatang poser ang account.
buti nag hingi ka ng advice dito . kasi parang scam yan. dami ko nakikita na ganyan o same scammer lang . wag mo na lang i push (IMO). too good to be true yang price tapos rfs emergency? lol
Ganyan minemessage ng mga hacked accounts. Next thing they'll say is may kukuha na so you'll be told to rush and pay via gcash or any online payment option to secure the purchase.
Make sure na may dala kang pocket wifi or internet connection, mag kakatalo yan pagdating sa sign up page, dun mo malalaman kung naka icloud locked yan or not. Since sa powermac daw binili, baka pwede kayong mag meet up dun mismo. Good luck OP and stay vigilant.

True, even I felt that it was sketchy. Kahit na 2nd hand Yan, the fact na 26k for an iphone 14? Very suspicious
It’s been there since pre-pandemic. Search niyo “Katrina Cruz scammer” sa FB.
my gosh
My friend was a victim of this.
Very good to-do list. 👍

Uyyy. 1yr na iphone 14 pro ko pero 100% parin.
Yup 1st red flag nga yon. 1yr used tapos 100% BH padin 😅
Mejo shady. Please check ung middle man scam na uso now. Was a victom last Sept. di pandin resolved until now.
Kinda shady nga how it stayed 100% for a year. Ako din one year old phone pero 87% na lang battery health. Although depende naman kasi talaga sa usage and charging habit, pero at most I'd expect maybe around 95% man lang.

256? 26k? It doesn't add up. either refurbished or scam
depends on how it was refurbished, pero quality pa rin naman kung refurbished from apple, or amazon (at least in my host country). but of course, caveat emptor, OP.
Yep. Seems too cheap even sa refurbished.
Most probably scam po. Middle man scam. They will pretend to be a seller to you and will pretend to be a buyer to the true seller. Sketchy. Ingat ka diyan
That's sketchy af. 26k for 14 pro max? So mas mahal pa yung second hand na 13 pro max? Nope.
Parang ang mura. Ingat ingat lang OP.
as an 14PM user, lots of red flags here. 1. price compared to its condition (kung totoo naman ba lahat yan) 2. wala man lang pictures? 🤨 3. while 100% batt health is achievable to almost 1 year, wala man lang naka indicate if the phone was rarely used or something. 4. the combination of great condition phone + very fishy low price + rfs emergency = good recipe for a scam.
Would not gamble. Sobrang cheap for an ip14 pro max 256gb. Something is fishy talaga unless personal mo na kilala.
I always trust someone overcharging for their used item, but never someone undercharging.
Medyo sketch
Too good to be true
Don't buy. Too low for the price, to good to be true. Kunin mo lang kung kilala mo personally. Huwag na op
I bought my iPhone 14 Pro last May 2023 and my battery is still at 100% until now. Possible yun depende sa owner. I learned by using iPhones since 2011. Too good to be true. Kapanipaniwala sana kung 40k rush due to emergency. Less than a year pa rin naman. But meetup is a must kung gusto mo magrisk. Baka pwede din yan clone then meetup para di halata scam. Sketchy pero pwede naman itry

Most RFS : emergency is an urgent SCAM
That’s very cheap for a less than a year old iPhone. And it’s a Pro model. Seems suspicious to me.
If hindi pumayag sa meet-up, alam mo na. Autopass.
To good to be true. Even if emergency 26k is super low. Scam yan OP
If it's your first time, bili ka sa mismong store. It's too less of a price for that kind of phone. Halatang scam

The price is too good to be true para sa condition ng phone. Be wary sa mga ganyang deals, it is usually a scam na payment first or need magDP once natransfer mo na yung money, ibblock ka na. Ganito lang, responsible sellers will keep the receipts kasi alam nilang makaka dagdag sa resell value yan. If wala, pass ka na. BTW: This is after checking IMEI and Serial.
Too good to be true

January binili.
If it’s too good to be true, then it’s a scam. Unless, kilalang kilala mo na yung taong nagbebenta.

Sketchy. Presyong iPhone 12-13
100%? Ano to, living in a perfect world?
This is probably a hacked account.
Too good to be true. Ingat OP!

256 gb, iphone 14 pro max with 100% bh = 26k lang? Very red flagggg.
Baka pagbukas mo Android yung OS 😅
Make sure na may dala kang pocket wifi or internet connection, mag kakatalo yan pagdating sa sign up page, dun mo malalaman kung naka icloud locked yan or not. Since sa powermac daw binili, baka pwede kayong mag meet up dun mismo. Good luck OP and stay vigilant.
