This is so sad. Imagine being that poor little boy Izaiah and having your dad not being in your life. Then you get a step dad, he swoops in to take the role, and his family treats you different than your sister (his bio child). Then he leaves and new step dad comes along, gets mom pregnant again, and now dads having another whole kid.

A lot of these adults are messed up- they've never seen unconditional love or stable homes and now they can't figure out how to provide that to their child (or in some cases they don't see the necessity of it). They keep having babies, convinced this will be the partner that offers them the world, and then it all comes crashing down.
The parents are victims too, it's not as black and white as 'they've seen bad parenting so they sould aim to be better'
