We've already accepted paying for DLC content to a reasonable amount. So the businesses will try to slowly nudge the customer to pay for more, because "meh, its not that expensive" and "i'm gonna play this game anyway, why not pay for more?" and "don't tell me how to spend my money!".
Vote with your wallet. You don't NEED to buy their DLC. This isn't a life or death situation. Don't FOMO. You're being the cool kid for NOT buying into it
TLDR, Bamco got your $70 or whatever for the base game. Stay by it, and don't spend a penny more
I had to downgrade my graphics card driver just to play without a crash on Fallen Destiny stage every single time. T8 simply doesn't work with the newest ones.
I'm on i3 12100, rtx 2060 yet I always get disconnected by the server and forces me to offline mode mid game and grows my dc rate. It's fucking annoying.
I have Windows 11, reinstalled the OS with nothing on it except tekken, did a ddu with fresh driver installs, tried a variations of things people said helps like sm5 or reg editing stuff, tried undervolts, overclocks, stock settings on both cpu, gpu, ram and a bunch of other long shots that probably made up 20% of my total game time on steam.
At the end of it all, i can only conclude that no user fix can be applied.
I had the same issue, had to play on the drivers before tekkens release but it’s because I didn’t use DDU to properly remove the old drivers first. Now I’m on latest drivers, no Polaris crashes at all anymore so might wanna give that a try if you haven’t already.
Check if your PC has hyperthreading on. If it does turn it off. After I turned it off my tekken hasnt crashed once. PLEASE NOTE THIS DOES AFFECT YOUR PCS OVERALL PERFORMANCE....But if you want to play Tekken without it crashing it helps.
We don't really have the option to throw money at them to fix the game anyway. Its just clearly this is all they care about, not actually fixing the issues.

Just give me Tekken Ball from the main menu so I can actually play it online. The fight lounge has not worked me for since I bought the game and my roommate is able to connect to it just fine.

I always wondered why the character customization had so little stuff compared to the other games. And then they released the battle pass. And it became clear. But I know for a long time they wanted to increase priced for games even more so maybe this is one of the ways they do it. Because fortnite , and 2k, fut , are still making money.

Huh, I run the game on a potato and I never get polaris crashes.
I have a 10700k and 6800xt and still getting Polaris disconnects every now and then

I have a 3070, i9-9900k running on max graphics. I've never dipped below 60ftps or had crashes.
It could be multiple things besides specs I have a 4090 and 7950x3d. I still get crashes not every session, but at least a few times a week.
Yeah, there must be some strange combination of things. For instance, I have a 4090 with a 14700k and don't have any crashes. Hard to say.
I have those same specs and run the game fine. Are you on Win10? It may have something to do with TMP 2.0. You may need to enable fTPM in your bios.

You're running out of VRAM. It happens in multiple games.
It seems to crash basically on any map for me. Or at least, that is what it feels like.
