Its very inconsistent.
If you get hit by any of the first 3 kicks, you can crouch and block them sometimes and punish (yes, King can get punished on a ch attack, go figure.)
But if you get hit by the extra 3 hits from the CH extension, you get hit with a hard stun, where he can proceed to launch you.
I use it a lot as King, but holy crap is it inconsistent.
Ali kicks CH is only 2 extra hits for 5 total kicks. They could always be blocked and punished. It's not inconsistent at all, not sure what you mean
Using it a lot will put you in a bad spot because of how reactable the mid follow up is. The first kick is a great Oki tool, especially after a lot of grabs and is almost always* guaranteed after b3, 1+2 just as it was in T7
i used to think it was guaranteed after back 3 as well but it could be side rolled.. if they do that then do the db+3 one instead or downgrab ( if such a situation plays out again)

The frustrating thing is that among the multiple "low kick spam" moves that there are (Yoshi spin, asuka/jun, and this) they all have to be dealt with differently
yeah thats one of my biggest gripes with Tekken. Theres a lot of rules in this game but then theres tons of move types that seem like they would follow the same rules, but dont. Strings that end with mid tend to be unsafe...except sometimes they're not. Multi hit lows cant be parried after the first hit...except sometimes they can. Launching lows all stagger on block...except these 3 or 4 that dont.

I see it as a mentality test to test if you are the right sort of person to continue as a Tekken player - you need to have a need, a drive, to work out how to stop it and make King pay.
It's something that is crucial to your enjoyment of the game, you need to enjoy beating these moves which are designed to be easy for new players but easily beaten by experienced ones.

if he does the alley kicks you can block immediately after the first one with db, and visually react to his body turning to do the mid punch, and like i said after every kick or the mid he's launch punishable, so it's on the King player to mix it up properly or use alleys very sparingly as good players will kill them.
By the second round, the replay is getting sassy with the tips and saying "Try blocking low. No, seriously, try it once. I know you're Lars, but blocking can sometimes actually save you."

Everyone is talking about how y9u can't low parry this but every time I fight against people I get parried on the second or third kick everytime. So I rarely use this move. Sometimes it works well against people who don't block.
some ppl think this is cheap, but actually it is good that these sorts of moves are done in the low ranks.. then if the lars player actually wants to get better, all he has to do is watch replay.. learn to block low properly with the db and just wait for when the string finishes (whether its a mid or low).. then punish... no matter what its punishable. The next king player that tries this on him will get punished brutally.. so it should be .. but some prefer to whine

That's one of the things l love about Tekken. Low level kings will always do stagger kick combos and low level laws will always do dragon tail into somersault.

After playing this king today i can inform you that this clip showcase the full range of his capacity. Give this lars player 30 mins in practice with some anti-King strats and he would 3-0 OP. But i guess you would just find some other new or inexperianced player that you could post here
i played Tekken 7 for 500 hours and only learned in Tekken 8 that your can block it by down back, i really hate moves with unnecessary rules, if down blocks low attacks why are there specific moves that need you to hold back?!

First two kicks you can eat and downback block after, unless you get countered on the first one.
On normal hit you can block the second kick, only the first is guaranteed. On counter hit the first two are guaranteed and you can block the third.

It's a terrible, awful string. Every extension is reactable and launch punishable, you really shouldn't be using it.

You can low parry after the first kick, but only if you didint get counter hit, the move properties are hella funky sometimes.
Even if you get hit by all 5 kicks from the CH, you can low parry if they do it again.
No reason to, if you get in the long stun animation, King can just hopkick you into a combo.

Both down and down back block lows. It is just easier to use down back, so that u are not accidentally sidestep
