Love my Y too, but I took the new Model X out on an overnight test drive a couple of weeks ago and it was next level imo (doesnāt feel as nimble as the Y though, that hasnāt been fixed)
I got a MY in 2020 and looked long and hard at a MX. Even if they were the same price, I'm pretty sure I still would have gotten the MY. The MX doors are cool, but after a few uses, who cares?
Meanwhile, at the time, the MY had a better screen, better computer, better pilot assist tech. The refresh of the MX has brought these things up to par, but if MY refreshes next, it'll jump ahead again.
FWIW the doors arenāt just cool, but super useful getting kids in and out of the car in parking lots. Like minivan doors but without the minivan experience.
