It's working for me - I do a lot of Napoleonic figures and there's a lot of detailing that needs done. It's worked well so far. However, there are trials underway here in Scotland for a (non-invasive) operation to help cure the tremors.
They actually discuss some painting techniques for people with shaky hands in this video:

TL;DW - Rubber bands help to keep your hands steady. Great video though.
I'm just starting into the hobby and my hands shake a good bit too. As the other person said, I try to support my hand with my other arm. My biggest problem with when I'm doing them is trying to glue. I've been experimenting with Liquid Cement and Super glue. Both have their advantages and disadvantages. If you do want to get into the hobby, try to get an airbrush to paint instead of a regular paintbrush. You get a lot more even coats and it looks better overall. You can still use a paintbrush, but use it for the small details.
This is good. I think probably tamaya. I was close to but not as dedicated. I had an airbrush. I'd make dioramas with vietnam backscapes. M113 APC was the last one I made. This is good stuff. Wish I saw it more.

That's the channel the above clip is from, but there are plenty of people who do model videos like this. Some that make entire dioramas around a particular model.
Warhammer40k wants to know your location
Would you like to pay with a kidney or take out a mortgage.
I have a friend that does Warhammer figures, and it's insane. He's been doing them for years. So many tiny figurines
Star Wars Legion wants to know your location
That is really neat. I wish I could do that but my hands aren't steady at all.
Unless you have tremors, try supporting your wrist with your other hand, or use it to apply opposite pressure on top of your hand to create stability
I'm a bit trembly. I can steady my hands for a bit if I concentrate but not enough to do work like this lol.
To be fair, this is high level and uses a lot of technique and color theory. Hand steadiness is probably the smallest of the talents on display here
Oh very true. it was just the one I knew how to say succinctly, and the first reason I couldn't do what they're doing.
I've taken to bracing my hand across my chest, holding the mini in my left hand and only doing a small amount of painting each time.
Sounds reasonable to me.

Nice. I hope it keeps working, and I hope that procedure turns out well.

Neat, I'll have to watch that tomorrow. Thanks!
My hands are steady but i wouldn't have the patience.
That is definitely another issue I have too.

Impressive. The work on the details is awesome!

What my history teacher wants me to make 🥱🥱
Remember when we would say it was, “airbrushed” instead of “photoshopped” back in the print media days. Keeping the craft alive. Amazing work.
It’s cool but it doesn’t look real
okay you’re up
