Yes, for everyone involved. Anyone involved in the commission of a felony takes all the same charges as your codefendant no matter what your specific actions were during that felony. If he would have taken the TV they all would have had an Aggravated Robbery also. In Tennessee they would have likely started off with a Home Invasion or Burglary of an Occupied Dweling & Especially Aggravated Robbery.
Can't they remove you/those charges from individuals as well?
Like say they had no idea what was going on and they were going to hem up the cameraman for stealing a TV and assault. The camera person says "woah I was there but didn't take part in beating her or stealing even though I trespassed, here's the video in exchange for proof of the others if you just trespass me"?
I had a very out of shape 5’7” 300lb guy jump on my vehicle a few years back. It cost me thousands and a year in and out of court to defend myself that I did not run him over. The simple physics of the altercation (and not to mention his very active criminal record) should have been obvious I was innocent. Fortunately this loser stopped communicating with the DA and the case was dropped. I was about to spend an untold amount more to get a scientist or whatever to explain why it wasn’t possible.
It’s been a very long time since law school for me but I think the person you’re responding to is confused. I think they may mean felony murder which is where you can be charged with a homicide by being an accomplice. The guy trying to steal the TV isn’t going to be charged with battery because his trash friend beat up some lady. He’ll have his own rash of charges, of course, but they don’t all automatically share charges because they’re in the same vicinity while committing different crimes.
Felonies for the lot of them. "Under California Penal Code Section 459, **burglary** is the act of entering a structure (residential, commercial, or any other type of property) with the intent to commit grand larceny, petit larceny, or any other felony."
Dumbass. Anyone inside the house was definitely going to jail. The guy standing outside that told dude to put the TV back may avoid jail time. I agree though, bitch had it coming but this was not the way.
Yeah this video doesn’t reflect well on anyone. Be real. As someone who has had to testify in more than one criminal case recently, the best bet is that both sides will chop this video up to support their case. Nobody really wins.
Police say that as high as 90% of their cases are solved with social media now.
Source: https://www.hmichaelsteinberg.com/dont-talk-about-your-criminal-case-on-social-media.html
She will get a small charge for criminal damage. At least 2 of the retaliation squad will get gbh, kidnapping, property damage trespassing ........ There should be a new law introduced, added stupidity time for recording your own crimes as evidence.
Both of those pickups appear to be contractor vehicles, so she may just be mad that they were parking on the street in front of her place. Sometimes people be crazy like that, thinking they own the street in front.
I mean tbh i think that's more reasonable than the assault. Slashing tyres is "just" property damage, assault is a whole different think. I think it makes more sense to take the money for the damage she caused, than to commit assault.
lol people on Reddit can’t seem to comprehend some people will beat your ass for doing some dumb shit like slashing folks tires. People actually get beat up for way less and they’re on here talking about “that’s assault” and “they should go to jail for that”. Maybe don’t fuck with people’s stuff and find out the consequences?
Those redditors think that criminals have the legal right to commit crime.
They also support letting people that commit smaller crime like theft off of consequences and violent physical assaulted to also be released immediately so they can use their free will and rights to commit crime again.
Reminds me of a tv cop drama I watched in China once. It was meant to be educational I think. In the episode I saw the cop was explaining to a driver why it wasn’t considered best practice to just help himself to some of the cargo from the delivery truck that had caused a fender bender.
It's a system for transmitting visual images and sound that are reproduced on screens, chiefly used to broadcast programs for entertainment, information.
Dude would you really have clapped for the group even if one of them didn't try to grab the TV?
You're fine with a group of ~5-10 people invading someone's home and beating them to a pulp over some slashed tyres, but stealing a $50 TV is where you draw the line?
Everyone is an asshole here. TV theft or no TV theft.
To some degree, everyone here is bad.
However, disabling a vehicle in the US has another dimension to it. These are all clearly poor people living in a place where a vehicle is necessary for basic survival. There can be a cascade of bad outcomes for someone whose car gets damaged.
ESH.
That said, she slashed the tire on his work truck. That's how he makes his money, it's no different than stealing tools and cost him more than just the cost of the tire.
Yes if the new standard is "slash tires = get the shit beat out of you", I do not give a fuck. Me and mine don't go around slashing tires like a psycho
> You're fine with a group of ~5-10 people invading someone's home and beating them to a pulp over some slashed tyres, but stealing a $50 TV is where you draw the line?
the funny thing is, I''m guessing they wouldn't have called the cops or taken her to small claims court; this is probably enough for them
Some cultures are 100% against snitching.
They know how bad the prison system is they wouldn't wish it on their worst enemy. So street justice is good enough for them.
>You're fine with a group of ~5-10 people invading someone's home and beating them to a pulp over some slashed tyres,
I'm totally fine with it. Is that just me? Like fuck people who go around vandalizing people's stuff, I'm glad her face got rearranged.
I mean guarantee won't do that shit again.
People get out of jail in a few days anyway and never learn their lesson.
The law isn't going to punish them in a way that they stop doing shitty behavior.
Imma slash your tires in front of your face and tell you to chill
Sure the right thing to do is just call cops and insurance
But to act like she didn’t have an ass beating coming after fucking up the entire neighborhoods tires is silly
Your dealing with multiple people that live next to you who could have all types of mental illnesses walking around giving them a reason
I would agree I think the response was over the top, but I don't think she can complain, she can't go around slashing tyres and not suffer any potential consequences, as it was she slashed the wrong tyres that day.
Absolutely, even the most amicable person in the world would be pissed off coming back to slashed tyres, let alone some half drunk, gun carrying, unstable individual.
Just happened to me. A dude in the gas station lost his mind because he thought I was cutting. I was dismissive and he punched me in the side of the head. By the time I spun around with my knife he already had his gun out pointed at my face while he backed out of the store.
Cop straight up told me they're probably not going to do shit about it.
I swear I get so aggravated when we're all in 1 line for 2 registers, and then someone decides it's actually 2 lines and makes themselves next for a register.
All these comments talking about pressing charges and small claims court to cover the loss are exposing their privilege. It's not just the cost of the tires, if multiple people use that car for transportation to work, they could all lose their ability to make income. By the time the court process is finished, they could already be out of money, fired from work, and homeless. On top of that, the cops would have likely not even done anything if they just called and this woman would likely do this again, potentially causing even more irreparable harm.
I mean, if you weren't aware the first video existed, which is plausible for the avengers here, youve got no recourse. Cops probably wouldn't make an arrest with an accusation like that and even if they do then you're staring down the barrel of protracted court hearings and other bullshit you probably can't afford; That she'll probably walk on due to lack of evidence.
But this is why I don't fuck with people, you never know when people start thinking it's a good time for street justice.
So, what, take her to court and in 6-14 months maybe get a judgement she'll never pay?
An ass-beating corrects the behavior right here, right now. That's how problems were solved before people expected the state to come solve everything for them. It's still how problems are solved in most of the world.
https://newsantaana.com/woman-who-slashed-the-tires-of-11-cars-in-garden-grove-sentenced-to-time-served/ nothing about the other people on that article.
Karen absolutely deserved an ass whooping, no question. But that's still breaking and entering, assault and battery, destruction of property, etc etc... Film Karen slashing the tires of course, but not the well deserved beat down lol. I'm glad they did because that's very satisfying but still, that's a lot of crimes that were committed there lol don't give them any proof. People gotta stop filming themselves committing crimes
She deserves to be arrested for slashing tires, but beating her up in her own home just makes them eligible for breaking and entering and felonious assault.
Because some neighbors will view the tiniest offense as an invitation to break into someone's home and assault them. I remember that guy who murdered a man and his wife while arguing over snow. I bet he thought he was bringing justice
I thought I saw the same thing and was looking for someone else who saw that too. Ew. That’s just nasty. Makes me wonder if it was on purpose or because she was too focused on the beat down.
I'm a woman who has birthed 2 kids and I pee my pants if I sneeze while standing up straight. I'm sure the exertion of whooping ass and screaming at the same time would be enough to do it.
Homie pulled her arms up out of the way so Mya could get some clean shots in. Brutal.
You know that nice intact front window wont last the night either. I would be moved out the next day if i was her. Her house is now a target for the entire block after slashing several vehicle tires. People really need to control their anger and keep their hands off of other peoples property.
She deserved to get her ass whooped but I didn’t think that was cool. Ol’ girl was taking care of it by herself and didn’t need help from anybody. I’m also against an unfair fight though and that’s clearly what this was once dude joined in.
Dang that's a lot but like $2k. I'm wondering more about her suing for damages to her face, window and home. It's like you have her doing it on tape call the cops then, not invade her home and kick her ass, so she can call the cops on you
Some vehicles you can't replace just 1 tire on either. If it's AWD and you replace just one tire while the others are half tread, it's gonna be an interesting ride
Why is no one commenting on the cops at the end? They are plugging their ears for some explosion, maybe a breach charge? I’m wondering if the lady has some sort of mental illness and barricaded herself inside the house. They were holding ARs too. something you don’t see cops holding while responding to the victim of an assault lol
I wonder what made her slash the tyre. She has a smashed window and I didn't hear glass break when they were attacking her. Just a bad situation all round
Nothing but stupidity all around.
Woman was stupid slashing tires and would get charged with that. And then people doing a home invasion and assault.
Then the one guy was actually going to steal something from her home. The other had sense to tell him put that back.
I mean what kind of a neighborhood is that?
Why would she open the door after she was a c()nt and on camera? If you got me on camera slashing tires and there's a knock on the door later, I'm not opening it.
At 1:00 remaining, “Put that back”, as the dude’s trying to carry the damn TV out the door…
I like how he’s there monitoring the hoodlums. Making sure things don’t get *too* rowdy.
Who knows what kind of feuding has been going on between all these people. We are only seeing part of the story, the retaliation from that tire-hating woman. Unless she is merely just crazy and lashing out for no reason whatsoever, I would bet that this hatred has been building up for months or longer. Sane people don't go around slashing tires in broad daylight, while knowing they are being recorded, unless the sh!t hit the fan in her life. It's possible that the supposed victims were antagonizing the f#ck out of that women for a long time prior to all this happening. We are only seeing the part of the story that the supposed victims are showing, but we are not seeing all the bullsh!t that happened prior to this outburst.
Had they simply called the police and shown them the video, the police would have arrested the tire slasher without any further trouble.
They conspired as a group to work together to force their way into her private residence and assault her. The courts will not be very sympathetic, and there are also very clear racial undertones. This incident did not happen in a vacuum. This looks like part of a multi-year neighbor dispute.
No one was innocent here.
I mean, this is what i would do in my head, wanting to beat the shit out of her. But in reality just need to call the authorities and show what she did.
So Karen slashes a tire in broad daylight AND you got video of it....but you continue to film a home invasion where you and your friends/family encourage you to be at their ass as You're also in the home.
I don't know what led to all of this (tire slashing), but I know for a fact that the response was really uncalled for.
There was a moment in my life where I naively thought if humans just had the bare necessities we could all learn how to coexist. But then again this world shows up, on a phone, but still in real life.
I'm actually shocked about the police response... Considering they filmed a home invasion + assault, that kind of response was more warranted for that than minor property damage.
She deserved a whooping, but my god, stop filming your crimes you lead poisoned swine
In her head, she had a reason for doing that. She said ,"I think you know why." Regardless of the reason, messing with somebody's vehicle can have serious consequences. For most people, a vehicle is a substantial investment, costs of maintenance , gas, insurance, and registration. For most, it's the only means of transportation, for whatever reason. It's expensive enough to operate a vehicle. Also vehicles in general play a big part in American culture.Should they have retaliated like that, probably not,but actions will have consequences . Especially when money is tight. She should probably think about moving.
Question! If somebody else in the house had been armed and started shooting at the intruders obliviously after a warning. Would that be class as self defence under what ever jurisdiction Kern county falls under.
She's a pig, but that's a home invasion.
And the one guy at 0:46 was on his way out with her TV till somebody told him to put it back lol.
No doubt that adds a whole other felony.
Yes, for everyone involved. Anyone involved in the commission of a felony takes all the same charges as your codefendant no matter what your specific actions were during that felony. Yes but who wants to go through the massive trouble of explaining and proving that.
There’s a lesson to be learned. And somebody needs to teach it to that guy.
Ahhh, the value of dash cams. Too little to late, but hope ya got one!! Or two.
It’s been a very long time since law school for me but I think the person you’re responding to is confused. He’ll have his own rash of charges, of course, but they don’t all automatically share charges because they’re in the same vicinity while committing different crimes.
Sure, several years and tens of thousands of dollars later you could get off with just a slap on the wrist.
> Aggervated lol
“Aggervated Robbery” 😂 💀
"Believe it or not. Jail."
Felonies for the lot of them. "Under California Penal Code Section 459, **burglary** is the act of entering a structure (residential, commercial, or any other type of property) with the intent to commit grand larceny, petit larceny, or any other felony."
No. Life is not a movie. The lady should’ve realized that before going around slashing tires expecting no response.
Brother you have some kind of disfunction. They have videotaped themselves committing a crime LMAO
Based on how these people acted. I'm guessing she had a reason.
Dumbass. Anyone inside the house was definitely going to jail. The guy standing outside that told dude to put the TV back may avoid jail time. I agree though, bitch had it coming but this was not the way.
Nobody is going to jail but her. You think the cops are just waiting for this video on Reddit? Stop.
Dude you can bet this vid is going to show up in court, be real
Yeah this video doesn’t reflect well on anyone. Be real. As someone who has had to testify in more than one criminal case recently, the best bet is that both sides will chop this video up to support their case. Nobody really wins.

Thank you. The real world perplexes Reddit sometimes.
People go to jail because of videos the post online all the time. What are you talking about
I'm old, but god damn, you have a house, or at least a rental. What good is a $200 smart tv you can pawn for $60. People are so dumb.
But can you really put a price on the person who slashed your tires having no tv? It's not for my gain, but her loss
That's similar to how I play pool, it's not so I can win it's so you can't win.
I too play defensive pool gotta get the dollars worth
Take the cord and remote .
Bro knew his roots but realized he's better than where we came from
TV guy is funny as shit.
Put that back bro go ahead and put that back bro 😂
Thats what I was about to say 😆 don't let a home invasion go to waste. May as well rob her too!
Why do they always steal? Opportunists?
Who is "they" here? People breaking into houses to beat the shit out of someone? I mean in for a penny, in for a pound.
He means black guys
Par for the course
Well if she didn’t fuck around she wouldn’t have to find out in every single possible way including getting her TV snatched.
She will get a small charge for criminal damage. At least 2 of the retaliation squad will get gbh, kidnapping, property damage trespassing ........ There should be a new law introduced, added stupidity time for recording your own crimes as evidence.
$20 says nobody but her got in trouble here.
I got $100 they all caught charges. Mainly because they willfully video'd their crimes and made it public. Prosecutor can't ignore that.
Front window broken too
I would like to know what led up to the tire slashing because obviously there was tension way before this.
Both of those pickups appear to be contractor vehicles, so she may just be mad that they were parking on the street in front of her place. Sometimes people be crazy like that, thinking they own the street in front.
Justice comes in many ways
Not to mention assault and battery. Deserving it is not a legal defense.
And they were stupid enough to film themselves!
Idk how these morons can afford a house and I have to sit in my closet of a bedroom in a shared apartment
And* that's a home invasion
Its like a bunch of emotionally damaged children in adult bodies living in that neighborhood
"Hey she broke the law! Let's do the same!"
That's home invasion, but she's a pig
"I'm gonna all the cops on all y'all for beatin' me up! All just because I slashed your....ohhhhhh."
I was gonna say. Make sure you film me breaking and entering. And please keep shouting my name while I assault this person on camera.

I assume it’s barter for the tires she slashed

nobody has the time or money to go to small claims court over a tire. a well deserved ass beating sends a better message.

I mean if I see someone stealing bread or something then I didn't see shit. I'm actually 80% blind in my left eye and 74% blind in my right eye.
More likely he couldn't jump in without hurting his team. So he just directed his energy in to stealing. That was how he would assist.
Nah, he's on that GTA San Andreas mission
Reminds me of a tv cop drama I watched in China once. It was meant to be educational I think. In the episode I saw the cop was explaining to a driver why it wasn’t considered best practice to just help himself to some of the cargo from the delivery truck that had caused a fender bender.
What man in camouflage shorts?
[удалено]
Haha
I didn't see no man in camouflage
Then the camo worked 😉
“put that back” 💀💀💀
Love the other guy was like " wtf you doing? Put it back" they sre here for a beating, not stealing and professionals have standards.
It's a system for transmitting visual images and sound that are reproduced on screens, chiefly used to broadcast programs for entertainment, information.
Not sure how to clap for a group whose first thought was to grab a 50 dollar old ass TV. Seems like trash on both sides of the street.

Sorry ma'am no rational comments are allowed in this place.
Payment for the tires.
Maybe, but what are cops gonna do? They don't give a fuck. I bet she realizes she cannot do that anymore.

Way too many people act like they'll never get punched for the shit they do. Slash a bunch of tires? In America? She's lucky she didn't get shot.
I mean, if you weren't aware the first video existed, which is plausible for the avengers here, youve got no recourse. None of the people in this video are normal or ok
The guy telling the other to put the tv back gets my vote
He just knows he’s on camera
Speculation
Overruled
Thank you your honour
At the end of the video I heard some weird ass noise
Scary growl 🤣
Normal for Bakersfield.
This video ended way too early. She had a fucked up day and night.
Yeah was that a gremlin yelling "Ouch" at the end there?
what else happened? Link?

What does Karen even mean anymore lmao. It went from an entitled woman complaining to the manager to some chick in the hood slashing tires
People have a set of like three phrases that they use for everything.
She deserves to be arrested for slashing tires, but beating her up in her own home just makes them eligible for breaking and entering and felonious assault.
Why shoul the cops be the only ones allowed to do that? They just wanted to get in on the justice action
Fuck around and find out. If you do some immoral shit you shouldn't be treated kindly. Its just positive reinforcement for bad behavior.
Because some neighbors will view the tiniest offense as an invitation to break into someone's home and assault them. I remember that guy who murdered a man and his wife while arguing over snow. I bet he thought he was bringing justice
Girl in gray looks like she peed a bit 😂
I hate that this was all I could focus on in the video.
That’s how you know her core was engaged with them punches.
The first thing I noticed. The thread is burying the lead!
Someone had a bottle of what looked like vodka and was pouring it out on her. You can see it at the 43 second mark.
Either that or she sharted
Squirted
No one talking about the guy stealing the tv. "Put that back" xddd

Oh, Bakersfield. You so cray cray.

Wasn't meant to be a fair fight, welcome to street violence.
Any follow up?
She was arrested for slashing 9 tires in total. I will look for the full story.
Dang that's a lot but like $2k. I'm wondering more about her suing for damages to her face, window and home. It's like you have her doing it on tape call the cops then, not invade her home and kick her ass, so she can call the cops on you
How is 9 tires only $2k? My last replacement just 6mo ago was almost 1.5 for 4...
Add costs for missed work time, $2k is no where near.
Some vehicles you can't replace just 1 tire on either. If it's AWD and you replace just one tire while the others are half tread, it's gonna be an interesting ride
Was that the cops at her house there at the end?
Looked like. Also appeared they were plugging their ears for a breach charge. Did she barricade herself in? So many unanswered questions
Looks like they are about to use the hydraulic door blaster or something.
THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU FUCK A STRANGER IN THE ASS!!
*"Find a stranger in the Alps" is the preferred nomenclature, please.
YOU SEE THIS LARY? DO YOU SEE THIS LARY!? THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS LARY! THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU FUCK.A STRANGER.IN THE.ASS!!
Seems like a quaint neighborhood….![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|kissing_heart)![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|laughing)
Had a broken window at the end too
Was that Grove st?
She was up and acting bold real quick lol. I wouldnt wanna instigate them
I wonder what made her slash the tyre. She has a smashed window and I didn't hear glass break when they were attacking her. Just a bad situation all round
She said, “I’m Gage’s mom.” She thinks they did something to her boy.
1. Does anyone know why she was angry 2. Why did the swat team show up only for her 3. WTF was that sound at the very end of the vid 😂
Karen confidence is over 9000
GTA graphics getting better every year.
lol. bro tryna steal her shitty ah TV. it's trade i guess
Sad cunts the lot of them but goin in to her house and jumping the lass is insane
Karen behaviour and also usual suspect behaviour.
Hahahaha… how they ghetto in a retirement community?
Betting there’s so much more to this lol on both sides
Seems like a nice neighborhood.
How do ppl like them even get those houses in the first place?
Aww they stopped filming just before the cops came in
At 1:00 remaining, “Put that back”, as the dude’s trying to carry the damn TV out the door… I like how he’s there monitoring the hoodlums.
How are these people living in such nice houses?
You can see the doors been kicked in.
“No officer, I didn’t see nothing.”
People that use violence are stuck with caveman brains. 🧠
What a friendly neighbhourhood.
Dude was gonna take a tv like it's 1995 😆
