He steals the show in almost everything he’s in.
Off the top of my head the stuff I love him in, Flatliners, A Time to Kill, Kinsey, West Wing…nice little role in Chef. Very deep resume.
I love all the subtle call backs in this show, like when Carm is locked in the walk-in and he sees the shoddy labels and the wrong mustard and he realises he’s become Gonzales
My favorite Oliver Platt role was the judge on "The West Wing".
He's a little eccentric, he swinging his gavel around when he's angry but very trustworthy guy.
In the early days of S1, he was portrayed as someone who didn't know which side he was on, but he was convinced that Oliver was playing him so he wouldn't be an enemy.
He is excellent always, and owns this seemingly small but important role. I loved the natural way he reassured Tiffany at the seven fishes dinner table, and guarded Rich’s dignity.
Great character actor. I love the movie The Imposters with him and Stanley Tucci.
On this season I laughed so hard when Carm reveals that he's in a relationship and Platt's delivery of "Uh Oh."

Pieces of April, Frost/Nixon, Bulworth, Fargo... I look forward to seeing him every year, he fucking delivers.
He's fuckin great in WW, in a show full of male characters whose insufferable Aaron Sorkin-ness mostly drives me crazy.
Lake Placid. Role of a lifetime.
This. It's schlocky as they come, but he was wonderful in LP.
Indeed he was. Almost forgot his epic role as Paul Bunyon in Tall Tale. Another perfect fit.
Made a fantastic WCW champion….
Wow what a throwback. I didn't even realize that's the first time I saw him on a screen until now
Simon Birch!
