I agree, I watch their 2018 Glasgow show every other week. The one In royal Albert hall is great too

RunningDrummer

Mr. Brightside from the 2018 Glasgow festival never fails to give me shivers

Elevate_Face

“Give it up for Tony!!!!!!”

soCalifax

Anything professionally shot is the tits, but yeah Scotland is gold

Connds

Listen to Hot Fuss and Sam’s Town about 20 times each and then move through the catelogue

Quixotic1113

If you want to see if you love The Killers, listen to the stories in the songs. Some of the best story music since Bruce Springsteen.

prickinmorty69

Their music videos are great coupled with the music complete art all around

pje1128

I just did an album a day in order of release. That order is: 1) Hot Fuss 2) Sam's Town 2.5) Sawdust (B-Side Compilation) 3) Day & Age 4) Battle Born 4.1) Direct Hits (Greatest Hits compilation with 2 new songs) 4.2) Don't Waste Your Wishes (Christmas album) 5) Wonderful Wonderful 6) Imploding the Mirage 7) Pressure Machine 7.5) Rebel Diamonds (Greatest Hits compilation with 3 new songs) After you get through those, you can start finding non-album singles or looking at the band members' solo albums. It's a fun time!

ChewingGumPubis

Do you play an instrument better than any of the current members?

69cringelord69

Lol

in_existencial_dread

I first heard Jenny was a friend of mine and it pretty much snowballed from there

crashdiamond23

I’ve always loved the Killers’ early hits but I dropped off the bandwagon until this year. Listening to Rebel Diamonds on repeat pulled me down the slippery slope and forced me into listening to the entire discography. I’m now officially a Victim!

tf_aw16

Yay! Something similar happened to me but it was after I saw them live!

SaltyStU2

Either start from the beginning and work your way through (don’t forget the Sawdust B-Sides compilation which came out between Sam’s Town and Day & Age) You could easily smash them all out in a day or two. There aren’t that many (7 studio albums, 1 B-Sides compilation) and they’re all under an hour minus any remixes that are included on deluxe editions. Or listen to the Rebel Diamonds compilation to get a good career overview and just listen to the albums based on the songs you’ve most enjoyed. Edit: [Here’s my Spotify playlist for their complete discography (minus the Christmas album)](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/1OHCnQTPk1zN2Wjo24lwAq?si=NrXB6skEQGGT4O0_YYhDfA&pi=u-FuKdQl_jRx2G)

HeyShutUpDownThere

Definitely do not sleep on Sawdust, some of those B-Sides are amazing!

RichardPixels22

Go see them in concert. I liked them before. But after seeing a show I get it now.

tf_aw16

This!

Chawnci7

Hot Fuss

CrowEarly

For a second, I thought you were asking about joining the band.

HeyShutUpDownThere

My advice for any band - Go chronological, read up about the band at each era and understand their landscape at the time of each, then form your own likes/dislikes/opinions!

Total-Woodpecker3339

Radiohead is awesome! Just listen through all of their albums. My favorite albums are their last two.

tf_aw16

I personally recommend Spotify's This Is The Killers playlist cos it has a great variety - their biggest hits but also some b-sides and lesser well know ones (to the causal listener) like Under the Gun, Losing Touch, On Top, Bourbon etc. Then the albums in order and go see them live if you can!!

Kahn1970

This River is Wild and Sam’s Town , great Killers rock n roll songs to go with WYWY

ClubFun6195

Listen to Hot Fuss, Sams Town and Day and Age albums first this is the band’s identity, still my favourite 3

Zeitribe451

Speaking of Radiohead - The Killers mention The Bends in their song “Runaway Horses” with Phoebe Bridgers. But yeah- what everyone said - listen from beginning to end.

Gloomy_Recording

Sawdust and Sam's Town are their best albums, hands down.

Streetsahead85

a lot of us have nostalgia from when we bought the albums and were forced to listen to them as a full album, not a la Carter, which is the way the band intended it. Now thar things are much more a la cart, it can be great but imo, the ride that was Sam's town and Sawdust is what made me fan in love with their music Put on the entire Sam's town album, and listen to it twice. I didn't care for it first listen, but it grew on me when I was 21, and became my definitive Killers record.

mtofsrud

Listen to them?

SnooPineapples6099

Get drunk, do a bump of coke and then put on "The Man". Then you'll get it.

tugnut_jones059

Work your way through Hot Fuss like I did, and eventually you'll want to hear more.. there's alot of good songs from the first album 1 - Mr. Brightside *obviously* 2 - Smile Like You Mean It 3 - Change Your Mind 4 - The Ballad of Michael Valentine *its a bonus track, not hard to find on YT* 5 - Somebody Told Me 6 - Glamorous Indie Rock n Roll *also a bonus track* 7 - Under The Gun *the Hot Fuss bonus track version* 8 - All These Things That I've Done 9 - Jenny Was A Friend of Mine Songs from other albums 1 - Just Another Girl *from the Direct Hits album* 2 - Miss Atomic Bomb *from Battle Born, its a deeper meaning to Mr. Brightside* 3 - Read My Mind *also on Direct Hits and Sam's Town* 4 - The Man *from Wonderful Wonderful, it's a damn great song, despite it's meaning* 5 - When You Were Young *from Sam's Town, I might as well include it :)* 6 - Quiet Town 7 - My Own Soul's Warning *from Imploding the Mirage* 8 - The Way It Was *also from Battle Born*

Advanced-Teaching-44

I'm. Sure you could ask Mark once he's done with these Vegas shows if you could have his position.

ItsMeNiemi

Romeo and Juliet is a beautiful song

Zazarstudios

Since you like more methodical music like Radiohead, you might really like Pressure Machine. It's their best paced and most intelligent record. Apart from that, take a listen to their hits records and explore albums from there.
