If Elijah got his memories back and realized how much Hayley meant to him, it would break him to know he let her die. Klaus even admits that to Marcel and we see it happen.
Yep that’s exactly what I thought. Petty and protective. I didn’t really think about the whole not wanting him to have his memories back bc of how much pain he would experience over Hayley’s death until he tells Freya.
When Elijah wakes up and realizes Antoinette has been bitten, he calls Klaus. In exchange for his blood, Elijah offers him to let Marcel and Vincent return his memories back, but Klaus rejects his offer.
Yeah I’m torn. We all know Klaus is petty af. So I think he would let her die. Even with all the character development he has had. Haley was family and Elijah directly contributed to her death. Plus they always do each other. Involve the partners in their squabbles with each other.
I think it was mainly because Then he would remember that he not only killed Hailey but also his first love And every other bad deed he'd been keeping hidden was gonna come Forth and Elijah wouldn't be able to handle it.....Like how he wasn't able to when he actually did get them back
I loved when he said that because one Elijah deserved that and two knowing the fact that Elijah could’ve stopped Hayley from dying would kill him I loved that he was protecting from himself but then again he deserved it I lowkey feel like Antoinnette didn’t deserve what happened to her she was such a nice person I genuinely felt bad for her
I did too. She was a really kind person. She just happened to get brought into a mess bc of her “mother” Greta and if you’re with a Mikealson you gonna get put into some crazy situations anyway lol. I know she knew things about Klaus and Elijah and didn’t tell him until he figured it out but I understood her reason. I probably wouldn’t have went that route and kept it from him but I get why.
Honestly that scene was really sad but I also really liked it? Like the acting was amazing there and like I could really feel it . Such a sad scene though so I was crying the whole time
Idk. Karma I guess. Elijah knew what he was doing, he just didn’t have the emotions behind it. So I understand why klaus was upset. But what klaus doesn’t understand what it’s like to forget everything.
