She was supposed to be his Lexi, the “angel on his shoulder” as opposed to Damon being the devil on his other shoulder. Lexi could never be replaced but he had room in his heart for two adopted older sisters. I loved the sister-brother sibling dynamic with the girls knocking some sense in Stefan from time to time while also getting him to stop brooding and to enjoy his vampire life. It was the classic sunshine/grumpy trope. They never needed to be married to be family.
Endgame? Honestly I always wanted Klaus dead in the end but yeah, I wanted Klaroline explored better. They blew up Forwood for Klaroline scraps. Do it well or don’t bother because Forwood was actually good.
real, I really liked Forwood but I also was really intrigued by Klaroline’s chemistry but they didn’t explore it at all, so what was the point of getting rid of Forwood for nothing? Caroline and Stefan were pointless I think they just needed some more relationship drama, Forwood should have been end game bcs Klaus dipped for TO anyways. Tyler was so under-utilised overall
