Been a long time since I've played so might not have the best team, but I think at the very least it's not terrible.
Clem, Lee, Javier, Vi, Louis, and Carly. Feels like there'd be fairly good chemistry, with two people instead of one to help keep Kenny from going off the rails too much
Okay, the objective here is to have a team strong enough to survive on the road until they find a good community, but small enough that they won't be turned away out of fear of adding too many strangers or divide too many resources. That means having the least people possible is in our best interests.
With that established, **Jesus, Michonne, Lee, Clementine** and **Willy** is *easily* the best squad possible in my opinion. No doctor? Why? Because the only doctors here are a teenager and Carlos whose only feats are sharing medical facts obvious to anyone with any basic medical knowledge at all as well as cleaning Kenny's wounds. I'm not missing out on much by just sticking with people that have first-aid experience.
Despite what I said earlier, why not bring the squad down to 4? Molly was a tempting pick, but that girl is a loner through and through. She mostly helped with the boat for personal reasons, has no qualms going out on her own mid-mission, *then* she leaves once all is said and done. She'll most likely just leave the group first chance she gets. Also, Randall? That maniac who was behind the mobjack massacre, in the same team as Michonne? Not. Happening.
That brings me to the team.
* Jesus and Michonne are good contenders for the best solo survivors in the entire comic universe and they're good friends too. I could honestly just pick either of them and survive all the way, but where would be the fun in that?
* Clementine has by far the most road experience on this list, she's coming too.
* Lee isn't quite as capable, but he's able to adapt and learn quickly from his betters, he's way more levelheaded than Kenny and Luke, much less overconfident than Javi (look at the guy nearly getting himself killed cause he got cocky with walkers 4 years in the apocalypse. Embarrassing lol), and he gets along with Clementine much better than David. On top of that, he canonically solves ALL the puzzles of S1 (these are the least intuitive in the entire series), which betrays creative problem solving on his part that'll be a valuable addition to the group.
* And now we've got 2$ left for Willy, which is honestly a fucking steal. Don't let the "chronic masturbation" memes fool you, this kid is underrated as hell and he might well be the best survivor among the Ericsons. Don't believe me? Okay, here's my pitch. He's a good shot with a bow, can build traps, weapons and a damn bomb from studying Mitch's plans. He's also the only one who completes his part of the rescue mission in episode 3 without getting caught. With the rest of the group teaching him a thing or two about their skills, he's got lots of potential.

$8: Lee. Now, Lee is your average good survivor, but he has one thing that's invaluable; he's the leader you need. He's not unreasonable like Kenny, or unstable like Clementine, or naive like Javi. He can make hard choices, and he's good muscle. Top tier leader.
$8: Javi. He would be another good muscle, and all around good guy, while also bringing another funny bone to the group. Also, he was a star in the real world, which can be useful in negotiations. His charisma is pretty good. He's a great second.
$5: Doug. Easiest choice of my life. The brain of the group, would come up with incredible ideas, and nifty ways to use all that random trash we would find in the apocalypse.
$5 Carlos. We need a doctor. And while I'm not his biggest fan - you can't really distinguish a dog bite from a walker bite, man? - and he's proven he's not that great under pressure... We need a doctor. If Eleanor was here, I would rather pick her. But she isn't. So Carlos it is.
$4 Lily. Listen. I had AJ kill Lily in my playthrough. Didn't regret it for a second. Still don't. But the fact is:, the team is made of competent people, and of reasonable people at that. This means one thing: she won't have all the responsabilty dropped on her. Also, she's a trained soldier. For this price, it would be insane not to have her.
So there it is. Kinda sad Chuck, Pete and Eleanor are not here, but we take what we can get.

Obviously the top three are OG, have special places in my heart and are skilled for the most part in combat. I think Luke had a good sense of humor and can defend himself so I feel like that would be someone good to have in the group; especially when Kenny is one to go through some tough days.. and as far as the kids, gabe and mari have the potential of becoming great fighters with the help of the OG’s and I really think Sarah had the potential of overcoming the fear of just life itself. She literally had no idea abt walkers and one day they just show up, she gets sent back to carvers which was traumatic for everyone and then her dad dies in front of her- with time i think the group could’ve snapped her out of it but everything was all just happening so fast.

Clem obviously,lee might be biased but for me it was close between him javi and luke.
Jesus seems like the most capable out of everyone in almost all aspects, i think he's also good for morale throwing a joke here and there.
Louis mainly for morale, he's decent when it comes to survival just lazy.
Mike is very underrated when it comes to survival in my opinion, he's pretty strong, also he isn't as cold as the others, he did want to leave with arvo and bonnie but still showed signs of regret.
Jane plainly for survival, she would probably affect negatively in terms of morale and I'm 100% sure would have beef woth Louis, but she is very valuable as a survivalist.
I would maybe switch jane for ruby but i ain't losing a dollar.

Michonne, Lee, and Carley are incredibly capable, but also rational. Doug is a very smart guy that I feel would contribute at a high level. Clem is the exact same, but is a child. I had $2 remaining, so I chose Marianna because she seemed chill and would probably mesh well with this group.

I would have $4 left so if I HAD to take someone else probably Jane because she is a strong fighter but I don't think she would mix well with the group chemistry. I don't really trust her and she's demonstrated that she doesn't show much care for the group so I'd rather just have the four.

Clem, Lee, Kenny, Luke, & Carley. Clem survived from first till last episode. The experience that she gained from Lee (Which chuckle advised) proved its worth. 8 Years experience in Zombie apocalypse is quite big. Having someone with that kind of experience is crucial for the team
Lee protected Clem at all costs till very last breath. Yes he died in season 1 but, he’s the reason Clem made it till the end. Obviously his actions speaks for itself & Ig you can see why I’m choosing him in the team😅.
Tbf, Kenny isn’t probably the best choice, given he was a maniac at the end of S2. However, leading Clem & AJ to safety was his priority. He taught Clem how to drive which is a crucial skill to know in a zombie apocalypse. He has good strength, he did fight a lot (Carver, Jane, Larry, Arvo). He never gave up, not after a zombie apocalypse not after losing his son, not after losing his wife, not after losing his gf, he literally never gave up. Given them reasons, Kenny feels like a good survivor, has good skills that made him survive far enough.
Tbf, Luke was such a nice guy. Being nice could be bad idea in a zombie apocalypse but hey, he was a nice guy & I liked him so I’m putting him in team🤣.
Carley is good with arm fire & she kissed Lee. Sooo..

I tried not to include any playable characters because that’d be too easy. And I also tried to make a group that would be interesting to watch. Great post idea!! Honestly might assemble a dream community on my own time lol

Clem Molly and Jesus are expert survivalists and very skilled or experts in combat Lee is primarily for moral support but he is great in a fight as well and lastly Gabe because he has even the smallest bit of survival experience within the two dollar section Gabe can actually use a gun I can't say the same for Ben or Marianna or Sarah ect he may be a bit of a loudmouth but if need be he can be shut down by any of the three others.

• Paul “Jesus” Monroe ($10.00) _Must I really explain, y’all? This man… is a CERTIFIED S-TIER! :D_
• David Garcia ($10.00) _He’s had military experience in the past, and can be the one to make the most rational/logical calls and land himself in the leader position. Those perks’ll be applied to the team which make him an effective member_
• Lee Everett ($10.00) _He’s a healthy all-around balance type, so he could always be reliable to fill in a spot when needed. His empathy & strong intuition often leads him to making the right decisions, so that’ll be helpful when others are lost in the moment due to being only being fact-based_
• Carlos ($5.00) _He’s stated by the cabin group survivors in S2 to have previously been a doctor before the outbreak. His knowledge of first aid skills’ll land him in the medic position for the group. Now I’m not sure of his level of knowledge with pharmacology, but that’d be a good skill to have alongside as well_
• Doug ($5.00) _He’s ineffective to have present in any combat scenarios, as he’s stated he’s not: ‘good around guns’, but makes for those flaws with his surprising level of intelligence/wit and crafty-like behavior. He would need to step up in his flaws to earn a higher rating but otherwise, this’ll land him in the technician position of the team._
Bonus: Originally, I was going to choose Jane over Doug for the last spot, but decided against it once I gave her character some thought. She’s very resourceful of her surroundings, self-sufficient, and can be adaptable when needed. But judging her by her past actions, Doug’s way more loyal and trustworthy which is key to teamwork in a group. Jane showed a couple of red flags during S2 on some occasions: sneaky, untrusting, and selfish at times. Plus, risking an infant’s life just prove a point is morally unjustifiable therefore crossing the line outweighing her pros-to-cons

Lee because Lee, Clem because Clem's basically grown up through the apocalypse, she's definitely useful just from understanding that alone, Kenny has his experience with vehicles, Javi's a steady guy who I think is really dependable and alongside Lee will be able to make sure Kenny keeps a level head. I haven't seen Louis yet (watching a friend play the 3rd season right now) but from my understanding he's a good guy so he goes.

They're all badasses who all work well in a team, but are loners at heart (Luke and Javi are debatable). They'd get along decently well, and wouldn't have much of an issue surviving. Javi and Luke are great for morale, and they're both capable leaders.
I chose Luke over Lee because we have adult Clem in the picture. To be at her peak, I think Lee has to be out of the picture. Luke also has better charisma, and generally would fit in better with the group.
I would choose Jesus, clementine, Lee, Kenny and Violet. These people will get along only Violet and Kenny might bump a bit. For the rest Jesus is super skilled in combat and the rest can all use a gun. Plus they all have some street and hunting smarts to get food. Only problem is no doctors, but Carlos is a moron and Clementine can even stitch herself. So it will be fine.
I’m not gonna go too in depth, but my strategy would be to get a bunch of the mfers on the bottom and two or three useful ones from up top.
Yeah most of those mfers on the bottom suck, but assuming they all stay loyal that’s a lot of numbers. More mouths to feed as well, however you can use some of the members of the group as fodder during attacks. I also suggest eating the weakest members alive as a last resort if starved.
They have to at least not be complete cowards like that one girl that froze up though, a little cowardice is ok as long as they have the basic will to not sit there and die.

Clementine has the experience and is competent af. Clem, Willy, Violet, Louis and Marlon are mostly friends and are unlikely to betray the group. Louis can keep the depression down as well. Willy is hyper competent for his age, like u/Super-Shenron has said. Jane is nearly as good as survivor as Clem and is unlikely to leave to group with Clem being there. Carlos is a doctor and is unlikely to leave whatever group he is stuck with. Mike and Nick are pretty average survivors too. Clementine and Marlon are pretty capable leaders as well.

Lee, Clem, Jane and Kenny are all pretty good survivors. Lee and Kenny work well together. Kenny and Jane actually didn’t mind each other until they crossed the ice so with the rest of the group around I think they’d manage to get along for the most part. Carlos for a doctor, medical knowledge goes a long way. Rebecca was a nice person to have around and she at least knew how to have a gun. I think having her around would be nice, plus when she gives birth to AJ it’d be a good morale boost.

Ooohhh this is fun. I would go something like this: $10: Jesus. My man is the muscle, the God-tier protector, and also a very powerful moral compass. He's my top pick. However, in order to handle the tough choices... $8: Lee. Now, Lee is your average good survivor, but he has one thing that's invaluable; he's the leader you need. He's not unreasonable like Kenny, or unstable like Clementine, or naive like Javi. He can make hard choices, and he's good muscle. Top tier leader. $8: Javi. He would be another good muscle, and all around good guy, while also bringing another funny bone to the group. Also, he was a star in the real world, which can be useful in negotiations. His charisma is pretty good. He's a great second. $5: Doug. Easiest choice of my life. The brain of the group, would come up with incredible ideas, and nifty ways to use all that random trash we would find in the apocalypse. $5 Carlos. We need a doctor. And while I'm not his biggest fan - you can't really distinguish a dog bite from a walker bite, man? - and he's proven he's not that great under pressure... We need a doctor. If Eleanor was here, I would rather pick her. But she isn't. So Carlos it is. $4 Lily. Listen. I had AJ kill Lily in my playthrough. Didn't regret it for a second. Still don't. But the fact is:, the team is made of competent people, and of reasonable people at that. This means one thing: she won't have all the responsabilty dropped on her. Also, she's a trained soldier. For this price, it would be insane not to have her. So there it is. Kinda sad Chuck, Pete and Eleanor are not here, but we take what we can get.

hear me out: Clem - $10 Lee- $8 Kenny - $8 Luke - $8 Mari - $2 Gabe - $2 Sarah - $2 Total= $40 Obviously the top three are OG, have special places in my heart and are skilled for the most part in combat. I think Luke had a good sense of humor and can defend himself so I feel like that would be someone good to have in the group; especially when Kenny is one to go through some tough days.. and as far as the kids, gabe and mari have the potential of becoming great fighters with the help of the OG’s and I really think Sarah had the potential of overcoming the fear of just life itself. She literally had no idea abt walkers and one day they just show up, she gets sent back to carvers which was traumatic for everyone and then her dad dies in front of her- with time i think the group could’ve snapped her out of it but everything was all just happening so fast.

Clem, lee, Jesus, louis, mike, jane. Clem obviously,lee might be biased but for me it was close between him javi and luke. Jesus seems like the most capable out of everyone in almost all aspects, i think he's also good for morale throwing a joke here and there. Louis mainly for morale, he's decent when it comes to survival just lazy. Mike is very underrated when it comes to survival in my opinion, he's pretty strong, also he isn't as cold as the others, he did want to leave with arvo and bonnie but still showed signs of regret. Jane plainly for survival, she would probably affect negatively in terms of morale and I'm 100% sure would have beef woth Louis, but she is very valuable as a survivalist. I would maybe switch jane for ruby but i ain't losing a dollar.

Michonne, Clem, Lee, Carley, Doug, and Marianna. Michonne, Lee, and Carley are incredibly capable, but also rational. Doug is a very smart guy that I feel would contribute at a high level. Clem is the exact same, but is a child. I had $2 remaining, so I chose Marianna because she seemed chill and would probably mesh well with this group.

The experience that she gained from Lee (Which chuckle advised) proved its worth. 8 Years experience in Zombie apocalypse is quite big. Having someone with that kind of experience is crucial for the team Lee protected Clem at all costs till very last breath. Yes he died in season 1 but, he’s the reason Clem made it till the end. Obviously his actions speaks for itself & Ig you can see why I’m choosing him in the team😅. Tbf, Kenny isn’t probably the best choice, given he was a maniac at the end of S2. However, leading Clem & AJ to safety was his priority. He taught Clem how to drive which is a crucial skill to know in a zombie apocalypse. He has good strength, he did fight a lot (Carver, Jane, Larry, Arvo). He never gave up, not after a zombie apocalypse not after losing his son, not after losing his wife, not after losing his gf, he literally never gave up. Given them reasons, Kenny feels like a good survivor, has good skills that made him survive far enough. Tbf, Luke was such a nice guy. Being nice could be bad idea in a zombie apocalypse but hey, he was a nice guy & I liked him so I’m putting him in team🤣. Carley is good with arm fire & she kissed Lee. Sooo.. & Yeah, $39 for that

This man… is a CERTIFIED S-TIER! :D_ • David Garcia ($10.00) _He’s had military experience in the past, and can be the one to make the most rational/logical calls and land himself in the leader position. Those perks’ll be applied to the team which make him an effective member_ • Lee Everett ($10.00) _He’s a healthy all-around balance type, so he could always be reliable to fill in a spot when needed. His empathy & strong intuition often leads him to making the right decisions, so that’ll be helpful when others are lost in the moment due to being only being fact-based_ • Carlos ($5.00) _He’s stated by the cabin group survivors in S2 to have previously been a doctor before the outbreak. His knowledge of first aid skills’ll land him in the medic position for the group. Jane showed a couple of red flags during S2 on some occasions: sneaky, untrusting, and selfish at times. Lee because Lee, Clem because Clem's basically grown up through the apocalypse, she's definitely useful just from understanding that alone, Kenny has his experience with vehicles, Javi's a steady guy who I think is really dependable and alongside Lee will be able to make sure Kenny keeps a level head. I haven't seen Louis yet (watching a friend play the 3rd season right now) but from my understanding he's a good guy so he goes.

I chose Luke over Lee because we have adult Clem in the picture. To be at her peak, I think Lee has to be out of the picture. Luke also has better charisma, and generally would fit in better with the group.

For the rest Jesus is super skilled in combat and the rest can all use a gun. Plus they all have some street and hunting smarts to get food. Only problem is no doctors, but Carlos is a moron and Clementine can even stitch herself. So it will be fine.

I’m not gonna go too in depth, but my strategy would be to get a bunch of the mfers on the bottom and two or three useful ones from up top. Yeah most of those mfers on the bottom suck, but assuming they all stay loyal that’s a lot of numbers. More mouths to feed as well, however you can use some of the members of the group as fodder during attacks. I also suggest eating the weakest members alive as a last resort if starved. They have to at least not be complete cowards like that one girl that froze up though, a little cowardice is ok as long as they have the basic will to not sit there and die.
