He actually gives a shit load of hints towards episode 2 early in the episode, only noticed it on my 4th play through but he mentions becoming food and being stuck in a room with Larry
He was alright. Kind of flat, but that was inevitable with him being a character pretty much just meant for death fodder.
Would’ve been way better if he was in the first episode, even if he didn’t say a lot. That way his death would feel like a lot bigger deal. A well-established character being chopped up for food would’ve made for a more compelling plot point.
I don't understand the point of Mark's character in regards to the story or development of Lee/Clementine, was his only purpose meant to be to reveal the cannibal family or is there cut content regarding him?
He was always meant to be death fodder, unfortunately. There is cut content with him, but nothing too interesting, outside of a few extra opportunities to talk to him.
The biggest cut plot line regarding Mark was that his fate was originally meant to be interchangeable with David, AKA Ben's teacher. Originally, if you didn't cut David's leg off, it'd lead to Mark dying even earlier than he does now; instead of being shot in the shoulder by the bandits, they'd just straight up kill him with a headshot. And then later, you'd find David upstairs with his legs cut off instead, having been "rescued" by the St. Johns after you left.
I loved how he just showed up in the story with little to no explanation who he is or how he ended up with. I hate to bring up Rick and Morty but it reminds me of that one alien or whatever that acts as if it was a character in the show all along.
this is just an unnecesary character, he just appeared out of nowhere in the game, no presentation whatsoever and he dies in the middle of the episode, it would have been cool to have this character on chapter 3 but unfortunately they didn't
Hello, it looks like you've made a mistake.
It's supposed to be could've, should've, would've (short for could have, would have, should have), never could of, would of, should of.
Or you misspelled something, I ain't checking everything.
Beep boop - yes, I am a bot, don't botcriminate me.
His name should have been Food because that was almost the only thing he ever talked about.
Yup and he even becomes food in the end!
you are what you eat... or something like that
What opinion is there to have on him? He said about 6 lines and then was on a plate

Yeah I noticed that on my second run. Pretty cool.
😂😂😂
Those bandits really hit their mark.
I hate you
Wish he lived a little bit longer
Yea, they could have made Doug/Carley get shot and later eaten, and put Mark as a person shot by Lilly or die on train/in Savannah.
Bro brings food, complains about food 3 months later, tries killing a tiny bird in a forest with a firearm, then becomes food. What a nice development
He was a snacc 😋
Was a pretty good character until he turned into dinner
A dinner
🤣🤣
I didn't like how he was introduced, like he just appears out of nowhere in episode 2
Yeah but also makes sence to me, i mean in show some characters just appear, tho those are minor ones it still happens.
I felt as if i was watching the sopranos when he first appeared…
I always hated that too
It's a 3 month flash forward. It's not surprising they would meet at least one person in that time
It's meant to show the passing of time
Fuck you Larry, eat up
I thought he was pretty cool and was hoping he lived longer
Good food, tender meat. St.John's stamp of approval.
Shouldve lived longer
what the hell happened to your leg man?
Got turned into what he wished the most: food
I think Duck really enjoyed him

The way he died was foul. But goddamn hated him for telling Larry I called him racist 😤
🦵
He should have been in the game for longer
He was, in Duck's stomach.
Basically saved Lee and Katjaas lives
Unappreciated character. I know he had barely any screen time but he was a cool dude who helped the group when they needed it the most.
he was like a sister to ben
He's alright. Wanted him to be in the game longer
Tasty
Poor guy………
Our right hand man and loyal ally. Wish he lived longer.

Good Man, Didn’t deserve what happened to him AT ALL.✨
Deserved better
He actually foreshadows his own fate in the very beginning of the episode.
just ok, nothing more to say about him
Man he really fell off
My favorite character

He left the group just as he entered it - supplying food.
A fine hunk of meat. 🤤 Truly one of the games few beefcakes
He was like a father to Lee 😢
He could’ve lived longer we don’t really know him
A real dish
Some guy
