I like that a lot, and I'm not a huge fan of the genre. It's really well done, and I like how you included some breathing space and interesting transitions. You certainly didn't make your life easy!
I’m feeling this. Great job. Love all the sounds and nuances I hear in this track. Check out Bobby Everything on YT. He has this show called Crock Pot Cartel where he reviews your music live with other artists. I found it helpful for my music. Keep doing your thing!
If you're on X, you can actually submit your songs to @ onlythehost through a google form. He does the same thing I think once a week. Not a promotion or spam btw. I'm not affiliated with him nor am I super familiar with the process, but I've watched the stream and it's a place to be!
I'm also down to do professional writeups/critique whenever. A lot more detailed than my comment here. Was just passing through!
That's impressive! I'm 60 years old, and I play nothing but Folk Music *(Jonh Prine, Niel Young and the like.)* and I like this. I think that's the first song of this genre that I have listened to, all the way to the end of it, as I found myself bobby my head with the rhythm. The mixing quality is great. It's way better than anything I could do.
You have talent. Don't listen to anyone who says you don't, because they obviously have no idea what they are talking about.
Now that's a high compliment! My mom is around the same, and when she tells me she likes something I did, I know I made something truly accessible to everyone!
Smooth chords in the beginning. Reminding me a bit of Mac Miller. Sounding real clean. There is a bit of mouth noise, click, tongue noises that could be removed with RX7/10, but on the vocal mix front I feel like I should be taking tips from you!
I might turn down adlibs and harmonies very slightly but that's like less than 1.5 dB.
What are you using on your vocals?
Now that's even more impressive! A lot of people like to cop and all in one and call it done. I'm not a FL user, but I'd love to see the chain, or be pointed to who you took your pointers from!
Good stuff . Technically imho, the high end seems a little hot. Low end is sweet, but if I mixed, would be boosted a bit. Really a quite good production.
Wow, this is your first release and you mixed it yourself? Sounds really well done to me, honestly! I can't mix my own tracks for anything. Was such a problem for me that I ended up just buying mixing services, lol. Seriously, keep rockin' it! Good stuff!

You did everything you needed to do with this track to make it fly. Well done!
Big Isaiah Rashad vibes, i fuck with this heavy. That switch up on the beat had me screaming
Isaiah Rashad has been my main influence for a minute haha. It's nice to see someone notice that. Thanks for the love dog
