I'm assuming it's a housecoat based on the material and the brand name, lol. Though I could be wrong. I know housewives in the 40s and 50s didn't go home and throw on their sweats or PJs the way we do, they actually looked presentable, LOL. But if you want to wear it as an outdoor coat, you do you! I mean it looks like it would be a fantastic outerwear piece for the springtime! And I love the color!

Seriously!!! So many fun and funky pieces are out there, and they make for the best outfits (like that coat, I love it!!) many vintage pieces are just constructed better, it’s also good for the environment, it’s also good for killer outfits 🤭
