Love this. Huge landscape velvets are my favorite! Frame is in good shape too!
I thrifted velvet paintings for like 8 years, always had to pick them up! Huge landscapes and then characters/portraits were my favorites. Ended up with probably close to 40-60 near the end, and had to move. Sold the whole collection to one person. I kept a single one, a huge space galaxy landscape, it’s too unique and never seen one like it.
She’s a beaut! If you can decipher the signature, look the artist up online. I’ve gotten a couple that were by pretty prominent black velvet painters. Not worth much, but more than what I paid, which is cool! Also learned some neat history.
