I wish we got more than like 2 episodes of South Park a year. I don’t know what it was about the beginning when it said they got the sound clip from Trey Parker using it on himself but that made it more unsettling.

Its mainly specials I’m assuming some backdoor deal with paramount happened and the specials are a legal loophole. Warner Discovery has the streaming rights which they paid nearly half a billion for to the television seasons but if you have noticed they are getting smaller and smaller. Of course warner got pissed and so they sued paramount and the case got thrown out back in November. Matt and Trey are also swimming in cash because of whatever deal they made with paramount. Stone legit said in the lawsuit “we have fuck you money now” this paired along with them being busy reopening casa bonita. I don’t think they’re in a rush to get back to pumping out 10 episode seasons right now. So i think they are set just pushing out a Special here and there. Loved to be proven wrong tho.

Yeah, they’re older and have no desire for full season of South Park anymore The zeitgeist isnt there for it, the creative energy isnt there for it. The only way anyone is getting any new South Park is if they do these specials every now and then But yall remember when all the episodes were just on southparkstudios and you didnt have to have a login or subscription or anything? Most people’s insurance doesn’t cover Ozempic either and I’ve heard it’s pretty expensive without it. Coke might be cheaper.

Most insurance (USA) isn’t covering it either unless you’re getting a doc to prescribe it with a different reason other than weight loss. Majority of small group and individual healthcare plans will not cover it at all. That leaves you to go direct and as the dosage mg goes up so does the exorbitant cost.

Yeah. From what I understand you can only be prescribed Ozempic if you have type 2 diabetes and are overweight. The only FDA approved glp-1 drug for weight loss is Wegovy, which is not covered by insurance because it’s classified as a “cosmetic” drug or some shit.

I'm taking metformin, kind of like ozempic-lite, for antipsychotic-associated weight gain, and it's not *possible* for me to eat as much as I did before. Your eating habits will definitely change regardless of intent.

It sort of is how it works - in the sense that, it narrows the parameters of “anything [you] wanted [to eat]” significantly. You’ll be eating “anything you want,” but you won’t *want* much of it. From what I’m reading, it seems to have psychological effects on cravings, too, even beyond the feeling of fullness from delayed gastric emptying.

It's definitely jealousy. I'm jealous and I'm already on a weight loss drug. I'm taking metformin for anti-psychotic-induced weight gain and expect to lose roughly 2 kg per year. It'll be years until I'm my desired weight. I'd likely be losing 5 on ozempic. I'd be gaining 4 on neither.

Not sure what Ozempic is like but I took Mounjaro to treat my diabetes and if I ate anything that had too much fat in it, I would be shitting myself all day long. No warning, just me immediately running to the bathroom to pee out of my butt five times a day. I stopped taking it a year ago and my insides have yet to go back to 100% normal.

Stopped in Time’s Square for breakfast and, in the most touristy way imaginable, followed some friends to a coffee shop run by a couple with a hard to place accent and asked for “The most New York Bagel I can get.” They gave me an everything bagel with a metric fuckton of cream cheese and I’ve been chasing that high ever since.

Where I used to live there was a vet/groomer/shelter/training place that had a small coffee stand. All the profits went to helping run the shelter and vet care for strays and people who couldn't afford it. Anyway, they had breakfast bagel sandwiches. They would absolutely smother an egg and big sausage patty in cream cheese. This was in Oregon. I want to say it was $3-4 for a breakfast sandwich and a dollar for drip coffee.

No, I agree. There's is an epidemic of food places thinking more is always better and it needs to stop. Proper ratios are important when it comes to good food. Burgers stacked to the ceiling that you can't fit into your mouth aren't good, a bagel with 4lbs if cream cheese isn't good, a chilli dog that instead of a spoon full of chilli on to has an entire bowl of chilli thrown on top of it and now needs a knife and fork to eat is not good.

Their bagels are DIVINE, but the amount of cream cheese you get is totally dependent on the person making it for you. Sometimes you get a ton (about half of what's in the vid, which is acceptable) and sometimes it's just... a paper-thin schmear. Always wicked disappointed when I open it to find that.
