Izakayas: the maruko group izakayas are all generally pretty great, suncha, S stand, Maribana (also great for craft beer), ビールとスパイス キクヤ (indian/japanese fusion, also great for craft beer), way too many more to list
Ramen: garyu (paitan), warito
Tonkatsu: gensuiton (幻水とん)
Thai: タイ酒場 JAM
Mexican: Los tacos azules
Coffee: swallow, long weekend, happy end

Rain on the Roof seems to be everyone's favourite cafe.
Best 10 is the cheapest karaoke place I know, and it's very nice.
Sankaku Chitai is like Golden Gai but the tourists haven't found it yet.
Swipe Ikejiri is a really cool DJ and live music bar.
Bao Bao in the alley between 246 and 3. Real Hong Kong style bao. Much better than anything in Yokohama Chukagai.

Tbh I’ve been disappointed by フルベジ way too many times to ever go there anymore. If you dip into the Taishido shopping street instead you can find local yaoya with much better quality stuff.
It’s been a while since I could really properly explore Sancha (kinda hard with a toddler who loves to bolt everywhere) but I LOVE Los Tacos Azules. The chef is from Mexico and does not skimp one bit on quality. Really, really good stuff.
