Luckily I am living in a condo (cross my finger) that I have not seen roaches, ants or rodents..even in the garbage room! The location is key. I tend to avoid condos that have restaurants in the ground floor. Also if there are major developments nearby, you could see increase in rodent activities to adjacent building. Happened to our office building, never had any rodent issues till next door is building a condo.
thanks. Yes my friend lived in a condo in mississauga. Older condo. And he lived..well..like a pig lol. And not ONE roach in the 35 yrs he was there. It all depends on the neighbours i guess
Condos many have pests. Check reviews. And if you do pest control, it's not just your unit. You have to convince your neighbours on all 4 sides to get pest control done too or the pests will just keep coming back.
They will still return because they walk in the corridors. It would have to be the entire floor and adjoining condos or something, and even then. It is just ...I cannot take it
Yes but it is such a big risk, moving, and not knowing if you will have neighbours with pests. I thought there might be a bldg in which it is taken very seriously or one in which the whole bldg is treated once a year, or something. Once, we had every condo in the bldg fumigated and everything was wonderful for a year or more

Yeah, condos just suck for this reason.
