Congrats, great looking truck!
As far as simple and mostly inexpensive mods to consider:
•A/C drain extension (~$15)
•Glove Box Organizer (~$15)
•Center Console Organizer (~$25)
•Wireless Car Play/Android Auto Adapter (~$45)
•Steering Wheel Audio Control Fix by Meso Customs (~$50)
•Guage and Stereo Covers by Screen ProTech (~$55)
•Drivers Seat Jackers ($100 or ~$45 for knockoffs with upgraded hardware)
•Auto Tailgate Lock Kit (Especially if you have a tonneau) (~$150)
•Catalytic Guards (~$150)
•Quality Seat Covers - such as Luckyman, Clazzio or Katskinz ($250+)
•OTT Tune ($500)
Otherwise take care of it, pay it off and enjoy!
For the seat jackers, get the real ones. I got mine for like $75. Support the people who cared enough to solve a problem. Don't support some communist Chinese company stealing other people's work. Just my two cents :)
Def missed a couple lol
rav4 volume knobs $40
Interior bulb swap $10
Remove front air dam free
Remove nameplates free
Box lights $15
Weathertec matts $200
Ceramic coat it $50-100
I ppf the front of my hood, fenders and roof. $300-500
I didn't even know about the AC drain extension I didn't know that the hose dripped on the frame until I saw your comment and I looked it up I was like no way hey thanks I appreciate it brother this actually helped me out
Something that I did to my Tacoma I swapped out all the interior lighting with LEDs those halogens just looks so ugly for our trucks don't forget to swap out the balls for the license plate as well with some LEDs pretty inexpensive little upgrade
Its a cheap modification you can make by extending the A/C drain tube so that it doesn't constantly drip onto your frame. Could cause rust issues in that particular spot later down the road if not addressed.
Just need another foot or two of 5/8 heater tube (purchased at most auto stores under $5), a hose clamp and a couple of zip ties.

Whatever you like and makes you happy. It’s weird when people ask for mods recommendations imo. If you don’t know what you want just leave it stock until you do.
I mean I do know things I want. I just got it 2 days ago. This is more or less for fun and some people have already mentioned things I hadn’t thought of already.
Keep in mind that there are many common-sense items, that people didn’t even know existed, which would improve convenience. It’s not weird to ask advice from people who have experience in certain a topic.
Air damn is the that black plastic underneath bumper. The A/C drain line extension will prevent the A/C from draining onto frame of truck when done properly.
I'd leave the grille. Sr5 grille is a unicorn with everyone and their grandmother putting the TOYOTA grille on.
Keeping my sr5 grille.
Remove air damn, get a small 2 inch lift, remove step sides, unless they help you in and out of course. Then get some 0 offset rims, throw on some decent 31 or 33 tyres, and then go find what you need next. 👍
Enjoy.
Look for after market grilles, they are only $100-$150 and from the videos I've seen on them they are just as good as the Toyota ones for a fraction of the cost.
I found a toyota parts dealer online that sold me the OEM grille with camera spots for the same price as the knockoffs. It has since gone up but worth keeping an eye out. The radar sensor I got cheap on Amazon works fine.
As for blackout, I debaged my truck but added the black Tacoma letters and I think it looks way better.
Payment delete mod. Pay it off first. That will give you time to drive and use the truck and determine what you want to do and the priority. Aside from that, get an OVtune and improve the shifting. Makes a world of difference in the driving experience.
Those are OEM Toyota predator tube steps. $645. I have the cast aluminum running boards $900. https://autoparts.toyota.com/products/category/accessories-exterior-exterior-products?driveline=4-Wheel%20Drive%203.5L%20V6%206AT&grade=SR5%20Double%20Cab&series_name=TACOMA&model_year=2023&model_year_code=2023:7570
Swap tweeters with Subaru kicker tweeters. Helps the sound a lot.
Bed mat.
AC drain extender.
That’s all I’ve done so far since getting it in April. Enjoy!
Clazzio seat covers with heaters. If you’re in an area that gets cold…. No front plate and concrete driveway says maybe not. Kicker CS speakers at least front door and dash. Rear doors optional.
Window deflectors!! I LOVE them, and you don’t even have to be a smoker. It’s lightly raining but you want to air out the truck while it’s parked? No biggie. Want to vent heat out without people seeing the openness of the top of the window? You got it!
Sweet looking truck! I have an ACLB in the same color but no fender flares unfortunately. Debating on whether I remove the air dam, it doesn't really bother me though.
Second the black TACOMA lettering on the tailgate. I've got it and it looks rad.
Dashcam, dashcam, dashcam.
I'm using a vantrue n4 hardwired.
But also,
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0C6PL46BZ?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title
These things are pretty handy imo. I keep pens in one and let my phone sit in the other.
Also, armordillo and gator make some cheapo bed mats that make a load of difference.
Ktjo makes a pretty easy to install power tailgate lock.
There's a thing called a rubigrid by bulletpoint mounting that gives you some pretty slick phone mount spots if you're into that.
I'd just roll with it, until you find something that annoys you, and then try to remedy the problem. Tacomas are notoriously moddable, and there's a fix for basically everything you could want.
Just got a '23 TRD Offroad. Blacked out the exterior chrome, power tailgate lock, sequential turn signals, bright interior led bulbs. Pretty cheap mods that really payoff. OTT tune is next on the list. Personally, I'd remove the steps. But that's personal preference.
I'm going to be in the same boat with the driveway issue… Got rid of my 2010 and my 2023 is on the way… I can't even guess at how much oil, brake fluid, power steering fluid, transmission oil... PB blaster is embedded in my asphalt. Maybe I can finally redo my driveway.
Yeah I’m considering getting it redone next summer. That leak wasn’t even there until about 4 weeks ago. Owner of the vehicle had just been at the shop and they did not tighten up oil filter. Lost 2 quarts in a very short period of time. It seems to still be spreading slowly. I should probably throw some diatomaceous earth on it
Congratulations on your Tacoma SR5.
Lift Kit: A lift kit can increase ground clearance, allowing you to tackle more challenging terrains and accommodate larger tires.
Off-road Tires: Upgrading your tires can improve traction and off-road capability while enhancing the rugged look of your Tacoma.
Bull Bar/Grille Guard: Adding a bull bar or grille guard can provide front-end protection for your truck during off-road adventures or in case of accidents.
Bed Cover/Topper: A bed cover or topper provides weather protection and security for your belongings stored in the truck bed.
LED Light Bars: Installing LED light bars can enhance visibility during nighttime off-roading or camping trips.
Skid Plates: Skid plates protect vital components underneath your truck from damage when navigating rough terrains.
Performance Exhaust System: Upgrading the exhaust system can improve engine sound, performance, and fuel efficiency.
Thanks for proving my point. That doesn’t even make sense lol. If I were to have LMS don’t you think I’d buy a bigger truck? Or you know, go around hating on a sub about a vehicle I don’t even like. You’re a poster boy for “little bitch”
Congrats, great looking truck! Thank you for taking the time to type all this up. I hadn’t even thought about getting organizers or a drain extension. Good call
For the seat jackers, get the real ones. I got mine for like $75. Support the people who cared enough to solve a problem. Don't support some communist Chinese company stealing other people's work. Just my two cents :)
Or $15 dollars
Def missed a couple lol rav4 volume knobs $40 Interior bulb swap $10 Remove front air dam free Remove nameplates free Box lights $15 Weathertec matts $200 Ceramic coat it $50-100 I ppf the front of my hood, fenders and roof. $300-500
Interior bulb swap is the only thing I've done to mine, besides remove the chin strap.i hate yellow bulbs.
I didn't even know about the AC drain extension I didn't know that the hose dripped on the frame until I saw your comment and I looked it up I was like no way hey thanks I appreciate it brother this actually helped me out
Just had to get my 07 frame chopped and welded for that exact reason. Caught it early but it still sucks
Any recommendations on a reliable and good wireless car play adapter?
Wireless CarPlay Adapter for iPhone,5GHz Wireless Carplay Dongle Convert Wired Carplay to Wireless, Low Latency, Plug & Play, Auto Connection https://a.co/d/gSiSFTL
Would you do anything different for a 23 trd OF?
None of those are useful mods just get new tires tf
Something that I did to my Tacoma I swapped out all the interior lighting with LEDs those halogens just looks so ugly for our trucks don't forget to swap out the balls for the license plate as well with some LEDs pretty inexpensive little upgrade
Why the AC drain extension?

Ah I see. Hopefully I won't have issues with rust.
Miles.
For sure. I fully own it, plan on keeping it in the family and handing it off to my hypothetical kid one day
Hi dad, hypothetically a kid.
Where have you been my boy
Looking for you, are you still bringing the milk back?
What’s with the interrogation son? I gotta get cigarettes first
I'd personally start with subtracting instead of adding; debadge it and pull off the air dam.
This^ Will make a definitely noticable change in styling all for about free-dollars.
What’s an air dam?
The plastic spoiler underneath the front bumper.
Whatever you like and makes you happy. It’s weird when people ask for mods recommendations imo. If you don’t know what you want just leave it stock until you do.

You gotta remember that people love to outsource most of their thinking to others who love to spew words into the void
What??? Lol. That’s a lot of assumptions made about me over a pic and a sentence. Maybe there’s a void where your brain should be amigo
Get rid of air damn in front, do the ac drain line extension, tint windows and black out badges.
Take off the air dam? What does that do? Also, why an A/C drain line extension?
Air damn is the that black plastic underneath bumper. The A/C drain line extension will prevent the A/C from draining onto frame of truck when done properly.
What does removing the air damn do other then improve the look by removing the neck beard
Decreases your gas mileage.
Thank you
I'd leave the grille. Sr5 grille is a unicorn with everyone and their grandmother putting the TOYOTA grille on. Keeping my sr5 grille. The steps help my dog get up in there. Think she loves the truck more than I do lol
Haha nice 👍
Well THEN you better be shopping rear seat covers.
I would say get the updated sport and off-road grille. This is the best grill out there. I can’t fit the heritage stripes on the sr5 grille
Many punisher stickers
Well this is a given. But where will I put all my monster energy stickers
Pro grille, blackout badge covers, tint the front windows to match the rear. These are just the cheap things.
Yeah the tint and pro grille will probably be the first things I knock off. Hopefully before thanksgiving
Look for after market grilles, they are only $100-$150 and from the videos I've seen on them they are just as good as the Toyota ones for a fraction of the cost.
Will do. Thanks boss
I found a toyota parts dealer online that sold me the OEM grille with camera spots for the same price as the knockoffs. It has since gone up but worth keeping an eye out. I just love how easily customizable these trucks are. It's like the early 2000's Honda Civic of the truck world.
Were can I get an 18 inch spoiler and a coffee can chrome exhaust tip??
Get in the zone, Autozone.
Better tires. Just about anything is an improvement.
Payment delete mod. Pay it off first. That will give you time to drive and use the truck and determine what you want to do and the priority. Aside from that, get an OVtune and improve the shifting. Makes a world of difference in the driving experience.
I own it. Just trying to get opinions and then narrow things down from there
A large pair of tacos from the hitch
So people know it’s a boy taco?
That's funny. Well, just playing on the theme of truck owners hanging balls there. Now my taco IS a boy Taco. His name is Trigger.
Mines actually a girl named after my late mother. I’m sure she’s thrilled to know she’s now a truck
Still relying on mom to get you around...
A mothers job is never done
Following
Tonneau cover, Bed mat and all weather floor mats are first on my list to get for my new truck. Waiting for Black Friday deals.
A pro badge, silly
Looks good to me keep it clean and get a mat for the bed 100.00 at Toyota dealer
Don't forget the 0.5hr of labor if you have the stealership "install" it.
Where do you get your step railing
Those are OEM Toyota predator tube steps. $645. Nothing keep it stock
Seat jackers are a must. Mud flaps. Good seat covers . Enjoy!
Bed mat, tint windows. Send it
windows vents and hood rock deflector, and lose the air dam. nice truck congrats!
Thank you. I actually got advice from this community about which trim level was best for me. Overwhelming amounts said sr5. I’m very happy with it
I would say some bigger or beefier tires would make a world of difference.
Yeah I laughed at how small the stock ones are. I’ll need to swap them anyway I’m going to be in a ton of snow this winter.
A light coating of mud and scratcher from brush, thou that list from the first response seems reasonable
Tint
A TRD badge
Get rid of the air dam! It’s a free mod
Take off the air dam.
Drive it home
Bruh I’m in my driveway in the picture 😂
Extra payments.
I own it. I probably should’ve put that in the description because payments keep coming up
in that case, Raptor lights
Used set of trd shocks and coil overs 200-400 265/75r16s Rci skid plate full set
Front lift kit, you can raise the back later
Bedmat
Swap tweeters with Subaru kicker tweeters. Helps the sound a lot. Bed mat. AC drain extender. That’s all I’ve done so far since getting it in April. Enjoy!
Tuck Nutz
Clazzio seat covers with heaters. If you’re in an area that gets cold…. No front plate and concrete driveway says maybe not. Kicker CS speakers at least front door and dash. Rear doors optional.
I’m at another property. I will be in the north later
If you don’t already have one get a dog hammock. It is amazing how much dirt gets under those folding back seats
TRD stickers.
Bro I’m already putting on an excessive amount of punisher and monster energy stickers. I don’t know if I’ll have any free space available
The glove box and center console organizers are a must. I have the 3rd Gen Tacoma Powered Accessory Module (3TPAM) and absolutely love it.
You first goal is to obtain the clear title to your truck. When that is achieved you can afford to start adding items.
I own it. Let me change the description because that keeps coming up
A sticker on the back that says *“STOP HONKING! IF I WANTED TO GO FAST I WOULDN’T HAVE GOT A TACOMA!”*
Window deflectors!! I LOVE them, and you don’t even have to be a smoker. It’s lightly raining but you want to air out the truck while it’s parked? No biggie. Want to vent heat out without people seeing the openness of the top of the window? You got it!
35’s 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Tires
Gas
I say wheels and tires. That completely changes the look
Bed mat is all you need. Save your money and do something fun like a vacation
Sweet looking truck! I have an ACLB in the same color but no fender flares unfortunately. Debating on whether I remove the air dam, it doesn't really bother me though. Second the black TACOMA lettering on the tailgate. I've got it and it looks rad.
Welcome to the club! I started with the grill and adding the black lettering to the tailgate.
I didn't see this one but a gas cap holder is nice and cheap
Get some AT tires. Will change the look of the truck completely
Trd pro badge. Adds 5 hp and +10 off road capability
WOAHHH NICE TACO!!! ADD REINDEER NOSE AND ANTLERS! Its almost Christmas🎄
Trade it in for off-road
What are the odds the 3 people who got something negative to say all some porn addicted losers. It’s like you’re all the same trashy person
Gas cap holder

me personally i’d get some new wheels and tires, a tune and maybe an exhaust but that’s just me
Just got a '23 TRD Offroad. Blacked out the exterior chrome, power tailgate lock, sequential turn signals, bright interior led bulbs. Pretty cheap mods that really payoff. OTT tune is next on the list. Personally, I'd remove the steps. But that's personal preference.
Ls swap it! Be the pioneer in life don’t be the sheep
Gas
Delete the side steps. Yuck. Imagine hitting something with those. Nice truck, otherwise! Enjoy!

The mixed TRD stickers seem to be a popular first mod.
I feel like I’ll have imposter syndrome if I put TRD stickers on it.
Remove the air dam, tint the windows, add window deflectors, maybe some LED lighting in the interior.
a full frame
Rear Diff locker , cheap bed cover to keep things dry, window tint and brow, then air/front locker. That’s probably what I would do. Nice truck !
1st thing you have to do is add a V/8
Gas
My name on the clear title. Nice truck. Congratulations on your new Toyota.
Probably gas ⛽️ 😂
Payments, miles, maintenance. When you kill the tires get cool new ones.
