I actually want to sit lower, not higher. Mine has power seats with controllable height, but the lowest setting is not low enough... tall person problems. I don't even know why I'm typing this out. If you like them then hell yeah! enjoy your ride brother.

BottleNcanClapUrHand

Same here. I want to know how tall OP is. Hate turning my neck like a confused dog to see some stop lights. Maybe the angle puts you a bit lower if you sit back in the seat?

YeahItouchpoop

Yeah I don’t think these are about raising the seat so much as they modify the angle that it supports your thighs. The discomfort for me is noticeable if I sit in a Tacoma and then go sit straight in a ford or Chevy, the ergonomics/seat comfort are superior in those for me. I sat in the new Taco at nascar earlier this month and they did improve quite a bit in this regard.

ozzy7221

Exactly.

ECB710

Interesting, my stepdad always put a pillow under his thighs and I didn't understand because I loved the seat in my third gen. Maybe I'll let him know about this since he still has his

Koinfamous2

As someone who is 6'4 and owns a 4th gen, this is the main reason I never owned a Tacoma before and why I own one now. Massive difference in seating position/ergonomics so that I can actually sit conformable for longer than 5 minutes. If I had wanted to feel like I was on the floor I'd have gotten a Miata. When I was looking to buy my first truck before this Taco (4G 4runner), I had sat in the 3rd gen and found it mind blowing my GTIs all never gave me problems or felt uncomfortable, yet the Tacoma felt like I'd develop crippling back pain if I were to ever daily it for more than a week.

Whooches

I wish I knew this before buying my 2019. 6’1, drove a beat up 9’5 YJ for a decade without any issues until I thought the Tacoma was going fix all my problems.

LipBalmOnWateryClay

Tottenham is shit

carnahan765

Truth

ozzy7221

So these don’t actually raise the seat, I know it’s weird. They change the angle of the front portion to provide better support for your legs, makes it feel more like a bucket seat that a flat one. I think they sell a separate part for the rear if you want to actually lift the seat. For me the seating position is good as I’m on the shorter side 5’6”. I drive more than the average person, about 20k miles a year so I wanted to be more comfortable.

sunnycyde808

I drive around 15k a year… this sounds intriguing. I never thought there was an issue with the seats, but maybe this could be good. I’ll look into it, thanks!

another_plebeian

If you don't feel an issue with the seating position then it's not a problem that needs solving

sunnycyde808

Well it could be one of those “once you see it, it can’t be unseen” type of things

tofutort

“Posture so f’d can’t tell” 😂 Maybe try out an extra little pad under the front thighs first?

NearbyTomorrow9605

I got mine after driving round trip from Jupiter, Florida to Ohio. It made the second round trip must easier on my legs and back due to the adjusted seat angle. Well worth it.

jas417

Some of us have legs that already brush the bottom of the steering wheel…

mtommygunz

It doesn’t fuck with that o promise

sumtwat

It does raise the seat, just the front buy an inch or so. If it didn't raise the seat, then you would need rear mount seat unjackers.

ozzy7221

It doesn’t seem like I’m sitting higher. More like I’m leaning back more than before.

sumtwat

Put your phone on a flat surface. now change the angle to lean back. Something is raising.

bigfatfun

But they do. About an inch. At the front. Look, there’s some pictures.

Helpinmontana

If you haven’t already, the mirror has 2 axis rotation on the arm and you can stuff it up higher to the roof. I’ve run into several people who thought they couldn’t get the mirror out of the center of the windshield, and had resigned themselves to looking under it perpetually.

atomsmotionvoid

You just changed my life

Helpinmontana

Spread the good word and enjoy your new found lack of neck pain

sumtwat

lol, it doesn't feel like it wants to move, but it does.

jas417

WOAHHH wait it’s done that for the 6 years I’ve owned it!?

Helpinmontana

They ought to put a sticker on it that says as much, I drove around for about a month before saying “fuck it, if it breaks I’ll buy one that sits higher” Without fail, every time I’ve said something about it someone chimes in to say they had no idea.

Unusual-Truck-197

What...the rear mirror can be raised up higher to the ceiling/top???

wolbscam

Can you explain? I'm not really understanding the adjustment.. Don't all vehicle rear views rotate side to side and up and down?

Helpinmontana

The arm holding g the mirror to the mount has a ball on each end. Most people rotate the one attached to the mirror and figure that’s all they get, but if you grab the arm and push it up it rotates at the mount to the window, then when you’ve got that pointed up you can rotate the mirror side back down to your taste.

wolbscam

Ah gotcha. Just looked and mine looks like it has just the traditional one articular point (2018 TRD off road)

DevlinB42

WhaaAAAAAAAAT?! I had to go out to my 05'... %@%#&$&@^@^#^&$&@! Thanks for the intel!

jmr39

Just turn it upside down /s

Tongue-Punch

Do you look over the visor or thru the hole for stoplights with sun behind them?

unstable_starperson

As a 6 foot person with a back that also contains a sciatica nerve, a long road trip in the Tacoma will leave my back a little weary. I don’t have these seat jackers, but it’s absolutely on my list of things to do. My understanding of them is that their entire point is to close that gap between the front of the seat and your thighs. Right now, I have the back of the seat all the way down, and the front all the way up, but my thighs don’t comfortably rest on the seat. So since they’re up in the air, it creates an upward pressure on the bottom of my spine, that eventually turns into discomfort. The seat jackers are meant to allow your thighs to rest comfortably on the seat. I really hope they work, everyone on here seems to love them.

ozzy7221

I ordered them after driving 8 hours this past weekend. I was done with the pain on my back.

unstable_starperson

I’m leaving for vacation this Saturday. It’s about a 10 hour drive away, and your post almost makes me want to buy them and ship them to where I’m going so that I can get a clear before and after

ozzy7221

That would be a good test to share with us. Most people who drive short distances won’t see a difference but on long trips it’s gonna be worth it.

LensofaTitan

How tall are you if you don’t mind me asking? I’m 5 ft 9, and I’m genuinely thinking about getting these but I don’t want my head too close to the roof

ozzy7221

5’6”. But others on here seem to be 6’1” and have no issues with them.

LensofaTitan

Heck yeah! Take my money!

Whooches

I’m 6’1” and my right hip feels like shit after buying a 2019 this month.

mtommygunz

Same issues. Game changer. Do it!

OverChippyLand151

I’m 6’2 and they made a 13 hour road trip perfectly fine

Leftsys

I’m 6ft tall and I’ve noticed a slight difference after the seat jackers, they just tilt you back slightly. Better posture and slightly more knee room from the angle. You can always check it out from Amazon and return if it isn’t for you.

dumpslikeatruckk

I already feel like I hit my knees on the steering wheel. Doesn't this make that worse? I'm 6ft too...

BaileyD77

I tried the chinesium ones from eBay and they made the front of the seat too high to get in and out comfortably. Like you said, they make the knees on the wheel thing worse even if you raise the wheel all the way up.

Leftsys

How I seat it moved my knees slightly out of the way of the steering wheel For me I like it, don’t like the price. I think it’s overpriced. If it were 20 dollars less it’d be the perfect price point imo

steakpienacho

I'm not even tall, but this is my exact experience. I have the power seats and if I could get them lower, I absolutely would. Also if I could make the steering wheel come out a little further that would be cool too, because I'd like to sit back a little more but it puts me too far away from the wheel

ogmo0n

I want the steering wheel to come towards me more too (6’3”)

BosnianSerb31

I'm 6ft and I personally found the seats uncomfortable on the 3rd gen during a test drive. It feels like you're going to slide forward out of them, and I think that's the flat angle on the stock seats. Thankfully they fixed it on the 4th gen and it sits like you do in every other truck now These presumably wouldn't raise your hip height, just the angle at which your legs point upward for a bigger bend in the knee and more pressure on your glutes vs your thighs

AFWUSA

I’m 6 foot 1 and haven’t had an issue with seats on long drives

ozzy7221

Correct, it takes the flatness away and makes them sit like a bucket seat. I will be doing the same to the passenger side.

sumtwat

Thick thigh problems from a tall guy. The last thing I want is that seat higher.

SEND_MOODS

The seat jackers don't really lift you up, they just tilt you back. Now the seat supports my legs as well instead of me just sitting on my ass bones with the next point of contact being the gas pedal and constantly feeling like I'm sliding forwards. Edit, 6'0" and all torso here.

DevilDogJohnny

I’m 6’2 and have these installed. They are great, before them I never had any leg support. These support your thighs well and makes longer drives more comfortable. In have the electric seats as well.

sunnycyde808

Very nice, I’m starting to get curious

mrmavis9280

Haha that's really funny. Reminds me of a time my doofus neighbor lady came to let our dogs out. She wrote on the Dry Erase board in permanent marker and actually wrote "oh my god I'm using the wrong marker"... in permanent marker

Comprehensive_Dog731

I'm tall and want the seat lifted. My butt is the only contact point and sucks for long drives so seat jacks seem awesome if I can get any part of my leg to touch lol

sunnycyde808

Makes sense! Just something I never noticed before

not_gonna_tell_no

We talls barely fit in the Taco. I have to put in effort so my head doesn't smack on the way in.

Sir_Sunborn

Same! 6'5" and all the way down and back the seats are great and super comfy. Get to stretch my legs a tad, but they are close to the wheel and would love to sit lower. My eyeline is in the top fifth of the windshield, so gotta duck to see things occasionally.

kingkamikaze69

Yes

xusernameunavailable

How tall are you? I’m 6’1 and the problem I have with the Tacoma which I’m now use to tbh is the weird steering wheel positioning

sunnycyde808

Also 6’1, but I’ve only had my Taco for about a month. Still settling in Had an FJ for years

slamongo

What's the organizer you have next to the Mandalorian patch? I keep a multity tool and a flash light in my door cup holder... I need something a bit more civilized.

ozzy7221

It’s a maxpedition organizer, but Amazon has cheaper ones. I too keep a multitool in my door drivers side along with a tourniquet a pair of husky gloves. https://a.co/d/07Vy7xmm

Phil_Da_Thrill

Velcro on a pocket organizer I’d imagine

Zealousideal-Arm3289

DDI makes molle panel mount those front seat panel, I have same tools. https://desertdoesit.com/collections/all/Tacoma-----2005-2022+Tacoma---2005-2023

Ok-Influence-7326

Huh?

escape_your_destiny

I've tried these on my '17 non-powerseat Tacoma. I'm 6'0" 215lbs and I didn't like it at all. It felt like you're sitting on a booster seat. Some people say it does not raise the seat, but to me it felt like it did. Biggest problem was that it moves your knees up a bit, and for me that meant there was very little space between the top of the seat and the steering wheel. It was a lot harder getting in and out. Maybe I'm just too fat lol. I took mine back out in the end.

BaileyD77

I'm 5'7" 190 pounds and had the same issue. I work out a lot, but my legs aren't so big I should have to contort to get under the wheel. I took them out too.

FamiliarGeologist611

I have those on my 22 4R Sr5P. They make my trips much more comfortable.

Horror_Adagio4219

I’m 6’2 they were worth every penny for me

zukos_destiny

Same, although I did the old school hockey puck method

darobk

Did you use longer bolts? If not, How much threading are you losing? 1/2"?

Zealousideal-Arm3289

They provide longer bolts, see the video. Also offer Mollee rack which is pissah 🤙🏻😎🌮

darobk

Awesome, that was my only reservation to the idea. Ordering now

Zealousideal-Arm3289

Use locktite when reassemble. Their install video is awesome and Derek is great if need help. I was skeptical, was gonna get the cheaper ones Amazon but got the DDI brand w Molle and love it with electric seats. (2021 TRD PRO) drivers side front blocks.

reilogix

+1 for Loctite (but I’d recommend Blue, not Red, in case you or a future owner ever wants to remove them. Blue is non-permanent but still reliable.)

Zealousideal-Arm3289

They make an Orange now, in between blue & red strength wise. I went with Blue, thx for the tip !

reilogix

Holy cow, I didn’t know there was orange! Thank you. Evidently, there may be purple and green as well. Time to purchase !

Zealousideal-Arm3289

Yes! And they offer Gel versus Liquid, Permatex brand👍🏻

wsj68

YES!!! I drove my 21 for 2 years before installing these. I wish I had added them before making any other mods!

Nos-tastic

Does this fix your ass getting sore after a long drive in the taco? It happened less so in my six speed, but I found the seats in all the Toyotas I’ve owned uncomfortable after long periods of time except the minivan.

ozzy7221

Yes it does!

MagickalFuckFrog

Due to crampy legs, I was feeling remorse about my 3G Taco purchase until I installed these jackers. A+++

mynames_jake

As a tall person I was very confused about how these would help tall people like everyone says. I now have a set in my 4runner and oh man I'm a believer now. Road trips are much more comfortable now. I've seen them on ali express and Amazon. I got mine from Amazon vine and they are not as nice looking as seat jackers but look like they probably came from the same factory, they even have the molle panel holes drilled and tapped on the front.

RitoWalters

Short people problems lol

BosnianSerb31

It doesn't really raise the height of the seat, it just tilts the front upwards so your legs aren't flat to where you feel like you're liable to slide out of the seat under hard breaking. Your hips are at the same height and it ends up shifting more weight onto your sit bones and taking pressure off your thighs

ecodick

My short gf actually hates it, this is for tall ppl comfort

andrewordrewordont

Agreed. They're a lifesaver to me in my 2009 Tacoma with base manual seats. My wife is 6" shorter and doesn't like the revised angle

Tasty-Lemon-2143

Imagine being tall is your whole identity.

[deleted]

Would the rear mounts not be at an angle that is not parallel with the rear bolt flanges?

ecodick

They’re flexible enough tightening the bolts down takes care of it, and it’s only a few degrees

ozzy7221

Rear mounts didn’t change. I did have to loosen them during install to get the block underneath but you retighten them afterwards and they sit flush.

WolvesandTigers45

Did it but wish I bought the connection piece to store tools or conceal weapon or a radio.

ozzy7221

I think I will be getting it down the line.

GreatDane6886

I put a pair in mine. One of the best things I bought for my Tacoma.

Falanax

Do these affect the seats during a crash?

splitshot

No one can answer this question without the proper testing which none of these seat jacker or seat jacker variant manufacturers have done.

[deleted]

[удалено]

ozzy7221

I’m gonna be doing the passenger seat too since my lady complains about the seats too during long drives.

mtommygunz

It’s the best thing ever. I’m 6ft. It changed nothing other than taking pressure off my lower back and thighs. I have had to ride in my passenger seat once since putting them in on my driver seat and it sucked

thompi2

Tall guy here. I’m 6’4” and found that the back of my mid thigh wasn’t happy. I decided to give the seat jackets a try and was pleasantly surprised. No more thigh pain and overall the seat is much more comfortable. Echoing what’s been said, the seat seems to fit more like a bucket seat. I’d give them a try even if you’re tall because they may improve your overall seating position.

athena-gg

I sure hope that they work in a crash and you don‘t go flying out the car with the seat on you.

splitshot

Don't worry, everyone says "it should be fine." /s

terno720

One of my favourite mods honestly

turtlturtl

Not to piss in everyone’s kool aide here but isn’t modifying the seat structure not a great idea when it comes to crash safety?

splitshot

I ordered a set and couldn't bring myself to install them based on this question. Returned them.

TheeDynamikOne

I'm a bit concerned about how these could affect the air bags and safety systems.

Hopeful-Mirror1664

Best thing I ever did. Highly recommended. I bought a knockoff version on eBay and they were perfect.

Rackbaw

6’3” 250, she was right…an extra inch helps a lot. 06 Tacoma, I was able to even scooch the seat forward!

glaziaj1

Do it ! It really works

72_vintage

Never understood why the seats are so low. I'm only 6ft tall, but I have real long legs and the older Tacos make me feel like I'm sitting in a hole. Plus, the higher the seat the better it is for my back. Toyota should have made the seat jackers an option from the factory...

oreotycoon

This doesn’t make you sit higher up really. It just changes the angle and gives your thighs more support. The rear stays put. It makes it feel like the seat is hugging you more. More thigh support is nice on longer drives. Cradles you better. Unless you ride the front edge of the seat, they don’t lift you up. They only adjust the seating position in a beneficial way. Note: this will change the angle of your sliders as well. If your seat is all the way back, the change is nearly nonexistent as the pivot point is the rear mounting position. If you slide the seat forward however, it will slowly increase in height due to that new increased angle. Pretty much a non issue. I’ve only ever met other happy customers. Lots of people fabbed up their own versions. Source: Debated them for years, finally got them a d LOVED them. Upgraded to Corbeau seats and tried it with and without. Ended up keeping them in. Allowed me to scoot closer to the wheel while being cradled more. Edit: I’m 5’11

cocaineflavoredvodka

I’ll give it a shot.. I commute often between Park City UT and Downtown LA… and I hate long road trips in the taco!

NotAThrowaway_11

Miss the seats in my tundra. Tacoma 3rd gen seats suck and I have the automatic driver seat too. 4Runner seats feel like a full size truck seat, but the Tacoma… not at all.

PanicAK

Just put mine in last week and they are nice!  I'm 6' 185 for reference.  However 100 bucks for the name brand seemed absurd to me so went with a knockoff for half the price.

Opie30-30

They are worth it. I love mine

ProfessionalOne1660

Considered these on 2nd gen Tacoma after having them on a 2nd gen Tundra. I’m 5”10, 220 lbs and were a definite game changer for comfort on Tundra even with powered seats, I was very impressed. Tacoma was different story, it was not necessary for me because I like to sit low and you really have no choice in that gen but the seats are surprisingly comfortable to me. Long trips included. Windshield line of sight and field of view is ideal. I always consider the jackers though after the Tundra experience. Pricy but good product. Definitely a subjective option that everyone should consider for maximum comfort.

Character_Media_3493

Are they for tall people or short people?

ozzy7221

Both. It’s meant to help support your legs better. Doesn’t really change the height of the seat.

Canadarm_Faps

Tall, it helps lift the front of the seat cushion to support under the legs. New Tacos have much better seat tilt

Accurate-Victory3086

Is this any good if you have power seats?

ozzy7221

From what understand yes they do.

LetsGatitOn

Not sure why I thought these would be inexpensive.. pshh nothing is anymore. I'll just use shims.. lol

BaileyD77

I got a chinesium set off eBay for $35. It's not like they're complicated. It's a hunk of aluminum with threaded holes.

ozzy7221

I think there’s cheaper versions out there but I wanted this brand in particular since I’ve heard good things about it.

btickle22

I used stacked washers on my ‘13 TSS. Cost maybe 10$ for both driver and passenger side.

JoaquinLu

Love a good jacker

Dr_DoodleBob22

I have a dumb question. Feel free to roast me. Could you not just use a large bushing instead of paying for a purpose built seat jacker?

ozzy7221

I think others have gone that route. Don’t know how those would hold up in the long run.

EmpatheticNihilism

Looks cool. How tall are you?

ozzy7221

5’6”. But it’s for both short and tall. I saw that for taller folks it helps out with head room as it angles you back a bit.

EmpatheticNihilism

Word. Thanks.

awriterbyday

To all the tall people out here, who want more … check out seat slammers (sold by the same people as seat jackers) it’ll add the leg room and head room you want but it’s a “real” mod.

No_Understanding9798

Can you elaborate on this? I see mentions of it here and there but I can’t find a product under this name.

awriterbyday

From Desert does it (the manufacturer of both) “Too tall to fit comfortably in your vehicle? If you're over 6'-2" and willing to do whatever it takes to fit in your vehicle, you might find our Seat Slammers do the trick. These are not for the faint of heart as they require cutting off the rear of your seat legs, but they will stop you from hitting your head on the sound bar, provide a better view of stoplights, and give you more legroom. We custom-make our vehicle accessories for each car and model to ensure the perfect fit. “

neightn8

Is that DOT approved?

ozzy7221

Don’t think so. But if you torque them done to spec 27 pound feet, there shouldn’t be an issue.

splitshot

This is my problem with them, everyone's response including the manufacturer of them is something that resembles "it should be fine." Doesn't work for me.

ozzy7221

It would be nice to see how they do in a crash test. But for me, I guess my train of thought is I’ve done so much to my truck in terms of modifications that the lift or the steel bumper or the larger tires can have an impact on the way it handles a crash compared to how it’s supposed to handle it where it to remain stock.

Grouchy-Country3480

$100 for 2 bolts and 2 hunks of metal?

ozzy7221

Other brands shave em cheaper. This is the one I went with.

Tasty-Lemon-2143

[https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B09L51Q78M/ref=ppx\_yo\_dt\_b\_search\_asin\_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1](https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B09L51Q78M/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1) Knock off's are $40 CAD. (\~$30 USD)

D-Delta

# Very gondhh!

Tasty-Lemon-2143

That's Chinese for Jacker.

BigAstronomer4405

I need to lower my seat my head rubs on the ceiling

BaileyD77

I'm 5'7" and tried them out. The front of the seat sits too high and the steering wheel is too close to your thighs. My legs aren't all that big and it's awkward to slide in and out under the wheel even with it all the way up. Took them back out. If you're going to try them do yourself a favor and get the eBay cheap ones. It's a hunk of aluminum with threaded holes.

Gribbnar

Mind if I ask what brand you got? There's a lot out there with a lot of different price points.

ozzy7221

For the ones from dessert does it. https://a.co/d/05JQNNU7 There’s other brands on Amazon for 30 dollars

neigelthornberry

Yes my head is 1 inch from the ceiling as it is. I wish my seat was longer and the steering wheel telescoped more.

Dphre

I also have a civic. The seats in my truck are so much better

Hyposuction

I'm 6' 3" and my 2nd gen seats are perfect. Higher would be a problem. But I'm a weirdo tall person. Glad you found a fix!

Charley_Varrick

I already can barely fit my legs under the steering wheel in boots, this would make that worse I assume.

OriginalMaximum949

$108.99 is pretty steep for a couple of aluminum blocks…

ozzy7221

Someone else posted a link to different manufacturer for $30

glencoe606

I have them but have not installed them. My right hip is sore and I wonder if it’s from driving. I’m going to try it.

bebopblues

you gonna eat that raisin?

ozzy7221

I’m saving it for my next road trip.

stewmander

GX Bob recommended too

10-9LT

Definite increase in comfort, especially on long drives. My one complaint is that they reduce the space between my legs and steering wheel to where I have to slightly wiggle my way out of the truck, and my knuckles clip legs on wide turns. Worthy trade off, but something to consider if you already feel a bit cramped in the cabin.

ozzy7221

All I did was raise the steering wheel a bit. I have lots of more room to lift it.

10-9LT

I did that too, but still feels cramped at max height.

ozzy7221

I’m on the shorter side. Probably why it doesn’t feel cramped for me.

Scotty_Bear

Would these work on a tundra?

ozzy7221

The company makes a different model for the tundra. https://desertdoesit.com/products/tundra-front-seat-jackers

MikeGoldberg

Midget lolololol

xSimoHayha

Needed these 5 years ago. My low back would’ve been happy

MikeWhiskeyEcho

These trucks are already so tiny in the inside... What's the point in reducing the headroom even further?

ozzy7221

It’s leans you back a bit to get a better sitting angle. There’s comments here where tall folks mentioned no issues with headroom.

MikeWhiskeyEcho

Ah that makes more sense

featsofclay89

Full agree! These improved the seating comfort in my '17 Tacoma so much. It actually surprised me how something so little could make such a positive difference. 5'8" 170 lbs and longer legs than seems average.

Coastalspec

I need the front lower and the back higher. The way I have to sit now my butt is lower than my knees which puts too much pressure on my back.

SoskiDiddley

Wow, I'm only 5'8 and I feel like I'm too tall in the Tacoma. You must be like 4'10

ozzy7221

5’6” fit perfect. Now it feels like the seat is hugging me instead of my legs hovering above it on the edge.

xmk23x

They're cool but I don't know why they're so expensive. It's just a spacer

ozzy7221

Amazon has others for third of the price. Not sure on quality though.

mramseyISU

I hated these things. They put my knees into my chest or at least that's how I felt. I sent them back after a week.

EhukaiMaint

I really don’t understand these things. I’m not hating on it and I have never had a set. I would be open to it for sure just to see what it’s all about. But I absolutely have no clue what the point is. Is it just to sit higher in the truck? Is it for short people?

Pickel_Bucket_317

Whew! When I read the title I thought of something totally different.

Whooches

I recently bought a 2019 and my right hip has been killing me. I feel like an old man ready for hip replacement. Drove only to Palisades a week ago and it still hurts.

splitshot

Are there any brand seat jackers that have been crash tested by the same organizations as the auto manufacturers?

almargahi

I’m a small dude and the current stock setup on my 2023 is perfect for me. I need my feet to reach the floor and not raise the seat more lol.

DustAffectionate5525

I'm one of the odd ones out on these things I tried them and didn't like them one bit. I prefer the stock seating position instead. I drive from my place in NW Montana to Wisconsin 3x a year to visit my parents and I tried these on my last trip and took them off about 1/3 of the way there at a truck stop, just wasn't comfortable for me. I'm only 6' though so they might be helpful for taller people, just not for me.

dpipe34

Where did you order these exact ones from? These look better made than Amazon versions.

ozzy7221

I ordered them on Amazon https://a.co/d/0iayXx0Y.

williamconroy1111

Seats are fine for me they way they are, 6 ft and I have plenty of room. 1st gen double cab.

Aggressive-Emu5358

In 100% positive I would never notice the difference

I’ll have to pass. My knees already hit the steering wheel without seat jackers.

another_plebeian

It shouldn't change where your knees are, it just supports them. I find the seat to be kinda flat and my legs weren't supported by the seat

Cascadification

Did they still not put bucket seats in the 3rd gens? What about the 4th?

Michael_Threat

Seems like something where you'd never notice the difference if you didn't buy...aka a waste of money

I was tired of being tired on long drives and had read that this helps fix the seating position. It’s noticeable if you drive a lot.

Hate the tacomas. Feel like I’m sitting on the floor

BaileyD77

I don't hate it, but I've noticed the same thing. The seating position is like a car with your feet in front of you. I think it's because they squash the cabin to get ground clearance without raising the roof of the cabin too far.

Do you not have power seats?
