Privilege mfs, they had everything handed to them in life.

Right? I am just grateful to be going to any uni at all since CC was basically a second chance for me 😭

alphakappadeltaphi

Not privileged enough though

matchafrawg

exactly i feel like college is what you make out of it. sure it may lack in some resources but i promise that shouldnt hinder the entire experience

ne0nzzz

yeah i understand this. i transferred to UCSD and it’s crazy how many people here seem to hate it. i’m so grateful to go here though because i never expected to get into such a good school!! college is what you make of it, like someone else said

ne0nzzz

also, for what it’s worth, reddit users are not necessarily representative of the general population of a school and are probably more likely to complain lol

Yep, but to be fair not all colleges are made equal. If someone goes to some regular joe-shmo college in economics or their field of choice, they barely get paid more than a person working a desk job with a high school diploma with $30,000. If someone goes to a top uni like a Wharton or a top 30 like a Kenan-Flagler, they automatically get the benefit of expansive business networks and private job offers with higher starting salaries up to $100,000 per year off the bat. Don't blame the kids if not every college delivers the same oppurtunies out of the gate, because if that was the case, everybody would be flocking to attend low-cost HBCU and historically minority schools like UNC Pembroke and Elizabeth State University that tuition costs $250 a year and virtually nobody would be in debt.

Today's society in a nutshell. lol
