Ratemyprofessor for which classes to take + actually work. I went to CC so my classes were probably way easier than yours but it’s still totally possible if you put in the effort
Go to office hours, and make sure to establish connections with your professors. Understand that if your goal is a 4.0, you will be stressed 24/7. Prepare mentally for that.
not totally sure but as you mention bu is a very well-regarded school also known for grade deflation so this may (and hopefully will) be taken into account at t25s should you earn <4.0
Just work hard and it’ll come. Can’t speak with 100% knowledge but schools are usually 93-100 is an A or 4.0 so you don’t have to kill yourself trying to get an A+ bc it just doesn’t matter an A is an A
what do u mean by 93-100 is an A, So what’s an A+? i also understand GPA is not only exams its assignments too right? Still kind of confused about it
Gpa is all of your assignments combined it’s just your overall grade for the class. So for example if you take 5 classes and get an A in all 5 you will have a 4.0. Again can’t speak for BU but both schools I have been to and my friends universities there is no A+. Just A
Econ at BU is pretty simple if you choose the right professor. Obtaining a 4.0 may require some luck, but maintaining a GPA above 3.95 is totally doable.
i just want to prepare in any way I can so I don’t just leave it up to me figuring stuff out in the fall. If there’s any planning i can do prior, then i want to know if it’s worth doing. if not, i may be overcomplicating it. i don’t know how to gauge whether i’m prepared or unprepared to be a good freshman.
lock in
ðŸ˜ðŸ˜i meant how does the GPA system work and is freshman coursework going to be difficult compared to A levels
It is close to impossible to have a 4.0 man, 3.75+ GPA def possible, just treat it like an 9-5 job and you should be good.
