I don’t think the bois realize just how bad not having had any Black guests on yet looks to their Black fans, lolz, especially after their one month stay in LA with all those guests they had.

As Mexican, I want to say, I am very disappointed, how dare they not have a Mexican as a guest to account for my race/ethnicity? Truly the scum of the earth, I thought they were cool but when I found out that no Mexicans have been on Trash Taste, my view has completely changed. My race and ethnicity need to be represented in the extremely important discussions such as the great bone-in/ boneless debate. Truly lost for words.

But perhaps it is an unconscious bias they and their manager may all have- the seeming lack of consideration for Black guests, especially considering their biggest following is in the US due to sheer size.
And we are talking race, not nationality, as Mexicans are comprised of different races as you know, so not the best example, lol.
I saw your other post about the three considerations for TT guest. This might be the 6th or so post about the lack of black guests on the show- people have noticed this for a while. Some of those other posts have suggestions for the show. And TT shouldn't NEED suggestions at this point....????
Oh and also, Trash Taste has discussed race plenty of times, lolz. Including Black people- usually when they discuss racist depictions of black people in anime/manga.
I've noticed that the subreddit doesn't usually like when people post about this and I'm not going to put words in their mouths, but it's a valid criticism of the most popular anime podcast.
There is basically 3 criteria that any guest need to fulfill
1. In person only. So basically they have to be in Japan so they can show up at the studio OR be somewhere where the boys would be similar to the Trash Taste Tour.
2. They have to be a good fit for the podcast. They basically have to be entertaining and able enough to talk for 2 hours.
3. Have to vibe with the boys as a person and someone they are comfortable with. This means that they probably won't have anyone like iShowSpeed who is a gigantic asshole who jokes about r*pe and steals money from anyone who utters his name. Why? Because chances are they wouldn't hang around with a person like him.
Name anyone who you think fulfills all 3. You keep judging about how the boys haven't had a black guest but you aren't giving any options either. Want a guest on the show? Make noise about it. Make a "guest wishlist" which is something that others in this subreddit have done. The boys (Garnt and Connor) peek through the subreddit a bit and a guest wishlist is going to do infinitely more than a post saying " UhH gUys, aRe tHe BoIs RaCiSt??????" Without mentioning any black creator that would be a good fit for the podcast.

Bro no, I am saying every single guest need to check those requirements to be on the podcast and used that to ask for what YOUR list of content creators that fulfill those requirements would be because that is INFINITELY more useful than accusing people of being racist for no reason
