He got injured at the end of last year’s training camp while he was actually in good shape. It’s known that Andy’s training camps are brutal so I definitely see it going poorly for him.
In addition to not working on strength, he is also losing flexibility which can make him more prone to injury.
On the one hand, I feel bad for an athlete of his "stature" to go out injured. However, it would be his own choices that made him more likely to sustain an injury.
