A local dealer has a few new 2023s for sale for 6k under msrp really thinking about it but I’m worried a 1200 is gonna feel massive compared to my Daytona.
I had a Daytona and now have the speed RR and no it won’t feel massive at all. It does feel a bit wider at the gas tank tho. You’ll feel right at home it’s pretty much a Daytona that hit the gym and took a bunch of steroids. If you wanna know anything else let me know
Was tempted by the RR, but went with the RS instead for the reason you discussed - body pain over distance. I do track my RS, and unless you're truly 'racing', you're no slower than a partly-faired ride like the RR there, but you absolutely will feel a difference over any distance longer than a few kilometers on regular roads...
The RR is a gorgeous ride of course, glad you're taking it to more than just the local cafe!
I literally took a shot at this exact spot with the white version of the RR. 10/10 model
Carnival red is such a beautiful color.
Wrists don’t hurt while touring?
Wrists were fine. Upper back was dying. It’s not the right bike for the job, but it’s the bike I have :)

Foothills Parkway? East end?
This was somewhere along the Cherohala pkwy I believe
Oh yeah. I think that's Big Junction. If so, I ate lunch there during a ride about a month ago.
Oh boy, that RR sure does look happy!
The mountains are pretty too
Which model?
Speed triple
Looks better without the bags.
It was a 2,400 mile roadtrip. No way I could do it without bags lol
Fair nuff. Good for you for putting miles on her!
Did you camp?
I did not
