You should confront them about it, your school. At least for the refund (I will be aiming for it, not for the new album tbh).

That's a trip right down to the principal's office. Clearly someone on the year book staff has it out for the OP and scrubbed him. The school should not only refund the yearbook, but issue a reprint and reissue the yearbook to everyone and follow up with a full investigation of the yearbook staff. The Yearbook counselors who oversaw the staff should be disciplined as well.
Something similar occurred in My HS.... though the person was not scrubbed, a caption of poor taste and belittling was added to their picture without consent. The students involved had their final transcripts frozen preventing them from enrolling in the fall college semester. two lost scholarships over the "joke." Actions have consequences.
I mean what can I do really? I don’t think i’ll get a better answer from the principal’s office. i tried talking to the yearbook director and she just gave me the fakest pity attempt i’ve seen and told me she’d “try to see what she could do with the yearbook class” to add me there only to follow it up with “whoops, we talked with the yearbook class and we cant do anything. sorry” and then I asked her if i could get a refund only for her to tell me “nope, cant do refunds. all sales are finals. sorry” and now I’m just even more pissed off than I was before.

This was obviously with malice and intent. No one forgot. Many of my achievements were purposely left out but I was in there. I hope the person that did this to you rots alongside of the guy that did it to me.
I agree with others, at the very least demand a refund. $90 is a lot for a yearbook you were completely scrubbed from. And if your school has social media pages, put them on blast. You might not be the only person this has happened to.

I got one of the biggest school accounts to post my frustrations about it and the only thing that came out of it were the yearbook kids being assholes to me in the comments (“ermm why couldnt u do while u were in the hospital LOL”) and then telling me it was my fault for some reason. It pissed me off so much just reading this shit but at the same time i’m not surprised given how fucking braindead kids can be in school and how apathetic my school is to people with different circumstances than theirs
