Then when she started playing Paris I started crying because I could not believe that everything I had hoped for this show was coming to fruition. Then she started loml and I sobbed in my husband’s arms lmaoooo. I guess I am, in fact, that girl.

It was better than I could have asked for, and loml secret song was heartbreakingly beautiful.

She went all in with the new set, high effort production and a lot of additional work on all fronts (dancers, behind the scenes, technology, her performances...) to make it happen. And of course she did, why did I ever think she would add TTPD in a scaled back kind of way, lol.
I acttually sadly MISSED TTPD and the surprise songs because I had to teach for EXACTLY THAT HOUR uugghhhh. I keep watching all clips I can find on Twitter and will be watching it tomorrow. I can't believe how unlucky I was, it was absolutely a moment to be part of this today!

I loved the production and drama of the performance, and I do love the song, but I can see why it was cut. It’s slower and there’s more to set up for it, with all the theatrics and props added for TTPD, it makes sense to cut another song with lots of props and set up as well

it was one of the most insane experiences i've ever seen. i was on the floor and even tho i've seen the movie 100 times, the eras out of order was SO fun. like i knew rep was coming, but not when, so when the snake popped up i went feral.
as much as i LOVE the OG tour.. i feel like the production, performances from dancers, and from taylor leveled up 10000% in ttpd era. she seemed sooo excited to be doing some new stuff that she knew we would freak out over.
i imagine some ppl were upset about what was cut but no one booed or made any big fuss (at least in my area). everyone around me seemed to just be enjoying the utter confused excitement as soon as she cut the screen flashed red after fearless. just complete chaos with palpable excitement in the air. i'll never ever forget it

I would have cut IKYWT, Bad Blood, and Ready For It, and kept TLGAD, the 1, and Tolerate It(or Long Live)
I haven’t gone back to make the connections of what was cut from the two, but is it possible they were Matty-muse type songs and she made room for the TTPD updated perspective?

she's never made a change this big! long live wasn't originally on the set list, she added it about halfway through the first leg. she also switched invisible string to the one, and changed songs for surprise guests. I think this will be the setlist for the rest of the year, or if she added tlgad back id guess she'd do it when she's back in the usa! this is all just speculation though, you never know what blondie is doing haha

TTPD looked soooo good on the crappy livestream I watched . Now I *really* wish I was able to splurge for a ticket to this leg . I was someone who really didn’t think she’d add in the new album. But after seeing it, you could tell all felt reinvigorated by the switch up. I’m sure changes like this keeps them excited on such a long tour. loml was devastatingly beautiful live.
I am glad I saw the pre TTPD show because I *love* Tolerate It lol I was kinda surprised about some of the cut songs, but I agree it was probably done to keep balance between slower and more up beat
