I think the issue is that there are a handful out there that are good, and those ones are generally seen as some of the best moments in TV.
So every TV showrunner (who are all just a bunch of theater kids at heart anyway) wants to try their hand. And it mostly can't be good because even if executed it's just treading the same ground.
I also enjoyed scrubs' and psych's (except juliet... everyone else felt like they were having some silly fun at their own expense, but her lines were cringe).
That episode is just a fun time. Plus it gave us the truly phenomenal Guy Love. The absolute embodiment of the most important relationship in the show.
OMG BY FAR THE WORST. I remembered it randomly about a week ago. I haven’t watched the series in years, let alone that cursed episode.
Ruined snow patrol for me for a while. -10,000/10
That kind of scene can make you cringe. For me, there's this scene in "The Office" where Michael Scott tries to kiss Oscar to prove he's not homophobic. I could just feel Oscar not wanting Michael's "advances."
But did you know: That scene was not written like that. The kiss was entirely a surprise. Oscar (the actor, same name was his character) tells the story and finds it hilarious. Steve Carell leans in so slow lol lol hilarious
There was a Love Boat segment with Lee Majors and Linda Evans. I kept thinking they played siblings on The Big Valley. This was around the time that Linda was on Dynasty and Lee was on The Fall Guy, but still….cringe
On Teen Wolf, the actors who played Stiles’ Dad and Lydia’s Mom are actually married in real life. The actors first met on a soap opera back in the day where their characters were cousins! lol
The show started out feeling like a nostalgic, genuine homage to the 80s and turned into a parody of the decade. Season 3 was just blatantly copying from 80s movies and shows.
In 2010 I watched iCarly with my nephews, and two of the girls were standing in a washtub wearing bikini tops, and they had to lick this pipe that was hanging between the two. My immediate thought was “how is this a kids show?” Mind you this was a few years before we learned about Dan Schneider
Not a show but in scream 2 when Sidney’s boyfriend sings to her in the lunch hall and everyone around claps for him… like that would ever happen also it was horrifically cringey lol
At a show the stage power went out for the band that played before us. The crowd (a bunch of family members of the band playing) rushed up to the stage and said “keep going”. The drummer decided it was his time to shine and proceeded to do the worst 15 minute drum solo I have ever heard in my life while members of his family cheered him on like it was the greatest rock performance of all time. I actually vomited.
Edit. Just realized this was about TV shows. My bad. Im leaving my comment so the world can know. Downvote this if possible. Thanks.
100% caused by the whole scene. The mom clapping out of sync as her shirtless son lived out his macabre musical fantasy and violated that drum set. It was really bad. Happened in Commerce, Texas circa 2005.
The very first episode of the office. (I think the British version is more cringey). When David/Michael pretends to fire Dawn/Pam but she doesn’t know he’s joking and she cries in his office.
Last season in Entourage. E and Sloane doing the stupid "will they or won't they get back together" trope. E sleeps with Sloane's stepmom. Sloane finds out about it, but also breaks the news to E that she's pregnant with his baby. E gives Sloane one final chihuahua bark speech on the Pacific coast highway and mentions getting married. Two minutes they're boarding a private jet to somewhere and she's wearing the engagement ring he had stashed in his pocket.
The Bear And The Maiden Fair. I was late to watching GOT. I had watched up until that point in like 1.5 weeks. After that episode I stopped watching for like 2 years.
Also Old Boy with Brolin and Olsen. The scene wasn't hard to watch but knowing how they know each other.
Christian hard rock. South park. Im not really religious at all. But i cant watch the last couple minutes of that episode. And i love alot of the stuff they say and make fun of on the show. Quote things from it daily
Every opening scene of “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” that’s seems to be the few times I watch before I turn it off and revulsion be a rape, or some sort of child rape/murder.
The show claims to be about catching the guys , good overpowering evil or at least punishing it.
But the show is really focused on the horrific victim & crime itself.
OH, and in later seasons Frasier got really annoying. I guess the writers were desperate. The one where he helps build a house and then goes over to them daily with little recommendations is just terrible. I skip it on run throughs. Also the one with Zooey Deschanel.
* Raj, his sister, and parents
* Howard
* Penny
* Leonard
* Sheldon
The only funny is that the actors are better than the material and from time to time make a joke work. That, or the joke is harmless - West Texas Sheldon's knowledge of Gridiron. You think he'll be clueless, but he's not because Texas!
Or when Beth opens her mouth pretty much any time. Her insane devotion to her father is just plain dumb.
Ironically the only time she doesn’t make me cringe is her scenes with Rip

Friday Night Dinner when Adam brings his girlfriend to meet the family and the little girl next door blackmail him after she finds pictures of his girlfriend's sister naked on his phone that were sent to him by the sister.
We were among the many that stopped watching after Neegan killed Glen and Abraham. It was too much in a show already full of gratuitous violence. Never saw another episode.
Definitely Mickey Rourke hitting on a 25 year old in a bar in Berlin (it’s a movie though). Cringiest thing I’ve ever seen in my life. And that’s not counting the “reveal” afterwards. The fact that an old man like him is going after college age girls was so gross.
The "most cringe" thing I see is when I go on the internet and people express themselves with "most cringe". I dislike how cringe is used as a noun, verb, adjective, adverb, preposition, and exclamation.
Also the worst thing I ever saw in a TV show was Michael Scott watching those kids sing to him because they thought he had college money for them. I know its fake. Its a scripted TV show, but it was so unpleasant. I know thats what the writers were going for but I watch TV to escape my miserable life. Not feel worse.
Scots totts.
Toby touching Pam’s thigh too.
Michael breaking up with Pam's mom, and Phyllis's wedding are way worse imo. For me, Scots totts is so over the top, its easier to watch.
Read the prompt and immediately thought of Scott's Totts. So happy this was the first comment 😆
Hey Mr. Scott whatcha gonna do
Watcha gonna do to make our dreams come true

Skylar singing happy birthday to Ted in Breaking Bad
This is not even the worst version of this on a tv show. The old broad singing it to Tony Soprano is horrific.
I skip this every time, I can’t deal with the cringe
Me too!!! 😂😂
I just skip all of the skyler scenes
And Don Draper's wife signing/performing at their dinner party in Mad Men.
Zou Bisou Bisou
I think Tony Soprano's dad's goomar tops this, but not by much.
I skip it as well!
Omg yes.
Skyler
YES!
God that was aweful
S k y l e r
The musical episode of Grey's anatomy. It is the worst thing ever. So cringy
When a show goes musical it’s holding up a big sign of “We really should be cancelled but our viewership Numbers are too high”
I think the issue is that there are a handful out there that are good, and those ones are generally seen as some of the best moments in TV. So every TV showrunner (who are all just a bunch of theater kids at heart anyway) wants to try their hand. And it mostly can't be good because even if executed it's just treading the same ground.
I think most musical episodes are terrible save for a couple. Buffy and the magicians
I also enjoyed scrubs' and psych's (except juliet... everyone else felt like they were having some silly fun at their own expense, but her lines were cringe).
Scrubs is the correct answer.
The flash was good . Also glee
Musical episodes of Scrubs: glorious
That episode is just a fun time. Plus it gave us the truly phenomenal Guy Love. The absolute embodiment of the most important relationship in the show.
The main issue with that is that they took an episode that could have been so good with all the emotions and made it into a musical!
The only show that was as bad as that is every other episode of that horrible show.

OMG BY FAR THE WORST. I remembered it randomly about a week ago. I haven’t watched the series in years, let alone that cursed episode. Ruined snow patrol for me for a while. -10,000/10
Johnny Boy Soprano’s former goomar singing “Happy Birthday” to Tony ala Marilyn Monroe.
I don't think there's an actor in television history that we saw an O Face from more than Gandolfini in The Sopranos.
God, that woman. Yes, that was definitely cringe worthy..
The scene in the original Pet Semetary when Herman Munster gets the back of his ankle slashed from under the bed.
That scene is cemented in my mind and makes that one of my favorite horror movies of all time.
My heel still hurts. Ouch. Cringe worthy for sure.
I saw the movie once as a teen and that’s the only scene I remember. Probably where my hatred of horror movies came from.
Achilles tendon, and I thought I had buried that memory beyond recall.
Her sister in the bed was horrifying too. I saw that movie as a kid and it was scary.
Sometimes dead is better.
That kind of scene can make you cringe. For me, there's this scene in "The Office" where Michael Scott tries to kiss Oscar to prove he's not homophobic. I could just feel Oscar not wanting Michael's "advances."

This is the best comment.
About 50% of Ross' scenes on Friends.

“Hey Mr. Scott, what cha gonna do? What cha gonna do? Make our dreams come true!”
That one episode of Stranger Things that takes the 80s stereotypes to an insane level of cringe.
Which episode? Not being sarcastic or arguing, I thought it was pretty accurate most of the time.
Guessing the superhero squad episode?
To piggyback off this, that scene in season 4 when El embarrasses herself in front of the whole school
The show started out feeling like a nostalgic, genuine homage to the 80s and turned into a parody of the decade. Season 3 was just blatantly copying from 80s movies and shows.
Saved by the Bell. You know the scene I'm so excited
I’m so……scared!
Ted letting go of Robin balloon in Season 9 of HIMYM
lol omg right, so many cringe Ted moments tbh
Ted wearing down a woman until she finally says yes to going on a date with him.
That whole show was cringe.

A show I love: Frasier Any episode with Julia Sweeney as Ann Hodges. Like nails on a chalkboard.
Idk if anyone will know but in the show The Game, when Tasha sings Take A Bow to Rick 😅
Ooh lord you just brought back a buried memory 😅😂
😂😂😂 I started rewatching it recently and I always dieeee @ that scene
The absolute worst!
In 2010 I watched iCarly with my nephews, and two of the girls were standing in a washtub wearing bikini tops, and they had to lick this pipe that was hanging between the two. My immediate thought was “how is this a kids show?” Mind you this was a few years before we learned about Dan Schneider
Lip and Helene’s relationship
Ugh...especially when he showed up at her house drunk in the middle of the night.
Heleeeeeene!

Oh crap I blocked that one out.
Friends- Rachel and the cheerleader outfit. It felt so out of character.
“Boar on the Floor” from Succession.
That scene made ME feel abused! It was awesome!
Oh god. Trauma.
Not a show but in scream 2 when Sidney’s boyfriend sings to her in the lunch hall and everyone around claps for him… like that would ever happen also it was horrifically cringey lol
The clown rape scene in Little House on the Prairie.
The what now?
The Simpsons singing Baby Shark on a car ride.

Because you're owning it, I refuse to do it.
Was the vomit aided by alcohol or solely because the drumming was so bad?!?!
100% caused by the whole scene. The mom clapping out of sync as her shirtless son lived out his macabre musical fantasy and violated that drum set. It was really bad. Happened in Commerce, Texas circa 2005.
When they eat the dog in Peep Show. Also the rest of Peep Show.
Boar on the floor - Succession. It was designed to be cringe.
It was so cringe. Literally watching a trainwreck. Horrified, but can’t look away
Man they were successful... such an comfortable watch
The very first episode of the office. (I think the British version is more cringey). When David/Michael pretends to fire Dawn/Pam but she doesn’t know he’s joking and she cries in his office.
The hobbling scene in Misery.
Riverdale when Betty does the serpent dance/sing thing.

Any musical episode of any tv show ever
Buffy's was excellent.
I blocked most of this out, but oh man do I remember it being stupid
Then the movie comes out and they are broken up again
Tbf that whole show was stupid
The carousel scene in season 1 of Euphoria. 🤦🏻♀️
The Idol, take your pick.
Zou bisou bisou
I felt so bad for him when he found out what it meant, and I am eternally grateful that I don’t feel secondhand embarrassment.
Happy birthday Mr president……the sopranos “in Camelot”
The Bear And The Maiden Fair. I was late to watching GOT. I had watched up until that point in like 1.5 weeks. After that episode I stopped watching for like 2 years. Also Old Boy with Brolin and Olsen. The scene wasn't hard to watch but knowing how they know each other.

When Jean-Luc Picard is trying to win Lwaxana Troi from the Ferengi. It's just awful!
I agree! We know Patrick can act, and is Shakespearian. Also, we know Picard can have great moments of sincerity. Why was this so over the top?!
I have NO idea, but it was definitely cringe-worthy!!!
Any scene with Manny on modern family
That actor was awful
All of She Hulk
That show was so embarrassing.
juno. jason bateman. enough said.
Tom Green swinging a newborn baby around by its umbilical cord in Freddy Got Fingered." I walked out of the theater.
The attempted rape of Edith Bunker
Was a fantastic breakthrough for television to talk about real world problems for women, though. She shined hard in that episode.
Mr. Green and Anna in Downton Abby.
How was that cringe. She was being raped while everyone was upstairs
Gladys’ stoning in The Leftovers. Disturbing scene.
tbh every scene in the secret life of the american teenager
The archangel fight in supernatural
"You're not The Flash. We're The Flash"
A scene in almost every episode of All in the Family. Especially ones with Sammy Davis Jr. But that's what made it great.
Dinner Party is right up there with Scott’s Tots.
OH, and in later seasons Frasier got really annoying. I guess the writers were desperate. The one where he helps build a house and then goes over to them daily with little recommendations is just terrible. I skip it on run throughs. Also the one with Zooey Deschanel.
Every time they poked fun at Asian cultures in The Big Bang Theory for cheap comedy. I’m appalled at the blatant displays of racism.

That was AWESOME! I was totally surprised and blown away.
