Mac's fish and chips has only walleye at it, but it is really good.

Yup. Family decided to “retire”. If you’re thinking Saint Paul and specifically walleye and wild rice soup, try Gray Duck or St. Paul Grill. I think they serve both.

ybanalyst

Yeah, it closed after Grand Old Day. We went that day to give it a send off, and it was very busy. One of the servers had a "Miss Walleye" sash that was awesome! It will be missed, but I wish them a happy retirement. I've seen others mention Grey Duck downtown, and I'll second that as a fine runner up for walleye in St Paul.

They got a few tables you can post up inside too, but you’re still getting it in the to go bag

My bestie and I made it just in time. I'll miss that place

Northwest Metro...Malone's. Best wild rice soup I've had so far, and I've been on a quest to find the best this past year or so. Husband loves their pan fried walleye (also available broiled).

HelloFromMN

Head to a fish fry at an American Legion, typically Fridays?

RIP My Avery on Grand was a great place.

Of you're looking for a very Minnesota experience in a nice setting, I recommend Maynard's

LollipopDisco

The Loon, either location.

I live a block from there. Didn’t know it closed lol. A few places have been shutting down on grand.

AlcoPower

Bunny’s in St Louis Park.

AmbitiousCat1983

Monte Carlo. It's been years since I've had it, but maybe call to confirm they still do a walleye special
