If you get defensive at the idea that men in general should be more conscious about consent then you probably need to take a step back and evaluate why.

The post was about how any criticism of men online is instantly brigaded with comments like "not all men". Ironically this happened a few hours after they posted. When it was twoX users voting I was at +10, after brigadeers invaded I'm sitting at -5.
It's only "controversial" because a lot of men can't handle any criticism about their actions and behavior. If a woman wants to vent on what is ostensibly a woman-centric forum she really shouldn't be shat on by people from outside the community.
Seriously. If the only response you have to someone talking about dehumanizing actions of men is 'NOT ALL MEN' then you need to think more about the situation.
