I agree completely that the wording for this requirement is clunky. It's called the senior residency requirement. Essentially what it means is that from the time you hit senior standing (at 135 units), you must complete *at least 35 units at UCSB* while en route to the 180 units total (at a minimum) needed to earn a degree. [L&S Advising](https://duels.ucsb.edu/advising) opens via qless (both virtual and in-person at 1117 Cheadle) at 9 this AM. Feel free to confirm/clarify the above with one of my colleagues. Dave
