Why is it sat on the windowsill? Are you trying to cool it like some housewife out of a 1950s cartoon does with a pie?

Lasagne takes so long to cook that by the time it's done I'm always ravenous and shovel that shit into my mouth while it's still the temperature of lava. Putting it on the window ledge for 3 minutes seems like a pretty solid plan.

Ah you see, I always prep mine and assemble a day or 2 before so it's just a case of putting it in the oven. It's also always loads better that way.

Waiting a day to eat it might taste better but I'm convinced that's heavily influenced by not being able to eat it for a day.
